  On our arrival and departure of the hotel we found the staff very pleasant and helpful. Our room was located at the back of the hotel on the 3rd floor. The room key / card was a little tricky at first to use but after some visual instruction from the hotel staff found it ok to use, (just need to get the card in the correct position for the scanner... cosa dice la gente » to work). The room was warm, comfortable, quite and suited our needs. We are unable to pass comment on the hotel food as we did not eat in at all. My - I loved the location of the Abba Queensgate hotel; the neighborhood is very charming and a bit off the busy streets. I was also amazed at the size of the room; being a frequent traveler, I do not expect space in a London hotel room, but this hotel was very spacious and well appointed, which was lovely for our family of 4 sharing a family room. I stayed in the hotel for 4 nights (03.01-07.01) and I have to say I liked it very much! I arrived there at 9 am and was given a room although the check-in time starts from 14:00! The room was soooooo lovely, so comfortable, clean, modern. Yes, quite small, but more than enough for one person, I loved everything about my room! The towels and linen were changed every day. Very comfortable bed! 1,5 months have passed but I'm still dreaming about the bed :) Very clean and nice bath

  Location is outstanding, on a very quiet street of all small hotels with a park the length of the street. Very close to Paddington. Good pubs and restaurants steps away from hotel. Furniture barely fits in room so we did a little rearranging to make it work for us. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Window in room opens wide and we were thankful for that during London's heat spell. - The receptionist made us feel at home once we checked in. Very helpful and cheerful, even managed to get us the discounted ticket and beat the queue at London Zoo! And the location was perfect! Short walking distance from Paddington station, in the middle of bus lane, surrounded by lush garden and near to good restaurants. Oxford street is 20 mins away max by bus.

  The Hotel was of a good clean standard with friendly and helpful staff. The room was very pleasant, clean and cheerful, not large but we have had smaller in London. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was warm. (The weather was bitter cold during our stay!) The breakfast (continental)was also plentiful with a good choice. The continental breakfast is simple but adequate with reasonable quality product on offer. Despite my adverse comments I would short stay here again.
