Friendly staff, and clean room. Good views out of the lake side windows!
Always good to find somewhere that takes dogs, and the service road for the services is a nice quiet place to walk dogs too!- especially as there were good things to sniff- due to rabbits! (according to my dog!). tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
All round comfortable. The place is cheap & all we needed was a
place to sleep for the night. We got more than we asked for. The
beautiful Killington lake meant scenic views. Comfortable bed, basic
ensuite. Days Inn customers get £2.50 off on £10 worth spent in the
Road Chef.
we booked a family room which was in fact 2 rooms connected by an archway, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. We have 2 sons aged 14 and 12 so it was perfect as they had their own connecting room and a proper bed each. The beds were comfy and the room extremely clean.
The staff were warm and welcoming and even went out of their way to be helpful, The room was clean and very spacious, the bed's were so comfortable I slept like a baby. Also the view from our window over the lake was spectacular.
the female manager on duty when we arrived was extremely helpful especially as we had problems with our rental car.
The location was great. Beautiful views over the lake and could not hear the M6.
The views at the back of Days Inn was lovely and plenty of chairs to sit and admire the view.
The room was warm clean and comfortable and the staff very helpfull.
We really enjoyed our stay.
Had reservations as on motorway services but comfortable, quiet, ( no M6 noise) nice well informed staff. Even the food in the service area was nice and you can get a voucher for money off.
Excellant. We had a room which had a smaller room with 2 extra beds for our sons. This was the best experience we have had and would definately stay again if we needed somewhere near there.
the staff were very friendly and surrounds and scenery were beautiful had a stroll along the lake and a very peaceful nights sleep before setting off on our journey thanks.
Very handy for breaking a long journey.Quiet and easy access to facilities.Lovely surroundings at the rear and a pleasantly small site with easy access to parking spot.
Killington Lake is somewhere that we have stayed before
It is good value for money for a one night stop over
It is a but tired and in need of some redecoration works.
the views from our room were stunning. It was quiet considering it is close to the motorway. Very convenient to the Lake District and to the Yorkshire Dales.
From the moment I arrived I was very happy, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the room lovely and the views over the water & fells super. Thanks .
Very good value for money. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable hotel
with a stunning view of the lake (from the room I stayed in). Overall a
good hotel.
Great location. Just on the edge of the lake district. Located at a motorway service station so very easy to find. Bed was comfortable. had a great sleep.
Location overlooking Killington reservoir was superb. The receptionists were excellent and friendly and would look into our minor problems immediately.
Situation very good.. We were travelling down from Scotland--grandparents with two gd.children. Very comfortable. Just one small problem! See over.
The bedrooms were very comfortable and the view from our bedroom was beautiful. The young lady on reception was charming and very helpful.
Welcome from the receptionist was excellent. The space is the room was great and it was comfortable without unnecessary trappings.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and had a wonderful view of the lake... Staff always went above and beyond expectations...
The staff were very nice and helpful, however it is a motel and we really just slept there.. It's in a really lovely setting..
It was spotless and very comfortable. Although near the motorway, you were not aware of passing traffic. It is very sheltered.
it was in M6 service area but you wouldn't know it,lovely views with sheep, rabbits and hedgehogs It was great and good value.
Amazing Value of money, very clean, had everything you need. Much better than a 3 star hotel that we stayed in earlier..
The young lady on reception was excellent, very helpful, directing us to a wonderful place for supper.
Excellent staff, in particular Jennifer was extremely helpful with our stay and was very welcoming.
The family room had two rooms, ideal for putting young ones to sleep while we could still watch tv!.
Good size room, bed and bathroom.. Free parking. A good place to stay while travelling in the area.
Very helpful and courteous Receptionstaff . Room basic but our specific requests were fully met.
The view from the room was beautiful
Being close to Kendal
Helpful staff
Comfy beds / bedding.
The staff were great, the price was great, you wouldn't know it was located in a services area.
All very clean and comfortable, very good shower, wonderful view over the lake (reservoir).
The view across the lake was superb and it was hard to imagine that it was on a motorway.
very friendly and great value for money. spacious room with great view of the lake.
Very handy location on southbound M 6. Very quiet.lovely views. Very good value.
Don't expect from a service station location, but this was no problem at all.
It at a service station on the M6. Lovely friendly staff, comfortable bed.
Very helpful staff, comfortable room with excellent food all close to hand.
Big clean room with comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with bath/shower.
Scenery and location superb and so unexpected in a motorway services.
Spacious room and really nice view of the lake. Good value for money.
Convenience of location
Comfortable bed
Good facilities ie shower.
the accommodation was clean and presentable, staff very helpful.
great view from window, very peaceful and comfy, room was clean.
Room clean, better than some Hilton that I have stayed in.
Everything excellent, apart direction, difficult to find.
the view outside was amazing lake killington is beautiful.
The view from our bedroom window also proximity to M6.
excellent value for money. Spacious room. free wifi.
Postcode takes you too the wrong side of the lake- not a major issue, but could be quite confusing at night- if you forget to go to the services!.
Not much. Everything is pretty basic. We had a faulty light in the
bathroom which was fixed straight away.
A little to far away from the town and the bath room had a funny smell.
everything was satisfactory.
Nothing , all as advertised.
Would have appreciated two chairs very much.
Nothing.
I loved it all thanks well done.
My SatNav (TomTom) did not easily find the location, even the co-
ordinates took me to a farmhouse nearby. There is no bar in or around
the facility, the nearest public bar in about six miles away in a small
town of Sedberg.
Problem with very hot water coming out of the cold taps until they had been run for a considerable time. One bed lacked a mattress cover and was uncomfortable.
Our Gd.children had some spiders in their room which I attempted to kill. The kids were unhappy! The staff were fantastic and gave them another room so all was well!.
Wish that there had been a restaurant with nice food and drink.
Nothing.
We weren't aware of how far out of town the hotel is... Which made for expensive taxi trips into Kendal... still, with a bit of planning, everything turned out wonderfully!.
Nothing....
The breakfast options were expensive and not vey nice.
Beds a bit soggy, springy etc.
Need bigger, firmer beds..
Needs a re-paint and a gd dusting.
Nothing.
Cafe very poor and costly but some alternatives available nearby
so use them.
Don't use the post code in a sat nav, takes you the other side of the reservoir, no where near the hotel!!.
Only access is onto M6 southbound which is no good when you want to go either local or north.
The problem of access. To leave required a trip to Junction 36 every time access to a road that joined Junction 37 would vastly improve its use as a "longer stay " location.
One very small item for consideration. Could room lights be controlled individualy from the bed?.
Really nothing one could moan about other than cobwebs in top corners of room, and soap dispensers obviously been broken by guests. We had our own soap so didn't report it.
Room had an unpleasant odour. Hotel felt slightly grubby.
Used a Sat Nav and did a detour around the lake before finding our destination.
Nothing.
nothing.
nothing.
Terrible bed pillows, too soft. On the booking site,letsbookhotel.com, it
initially said that breakfast was included in the room price.
road chef if u want breakfast go into town much cheaper and the food is edable.
No fine dining.
Bed linen/carpets need some cleaning.
