The cost compared favourably with an overnight travel lodge but the service received far surpassed what we would have experienced had we used one.

Only stayed for one night at the Edgerton Guest House in Huddersfield and was very impressed! Spotless rooms and very beautyfully done, very comfortable bed, very nice building and again room spacious! Staff very helpfull and friendly and welcoming! Ikhlaq does a wonderful job... I liked the style and the presentation but there were a lack of mirrors and lighting. They should have placed a mirror in the bathroom in order for women to do their make up. Plus the room smelt of damp which was overpowering and spoilt my stay. An employee stated that they had a flood and was going to change the carpets not only in the rooms but

we have stayed at the heritage center before. The apartment was excellent. Our stay was a little too short and much of the time was spent with our family who live in huddersfield. On arriving a gentleman came over to us and thankfully guided us to the correct entrance doorway and took us up to the apartment. I don't think we would have found it easily as we thought it was accessed via the lift. He replaced a hallway light straight away. We will stay again. (We like room 5 as it has a great view

Good service delivery. Very friendly and welcoming hosts. The food was excellent and timely. The room was comfortable and completely self contained. On the fringes of the dales, and very convenient for most local trips. Thankyou both for a lovely stay. We will be back. -
