  Pub was in tiny village of Elham, with a couple of shops (mostly closed when we arrived mid afternoon) and a church. Rooms were separate from the pub in a converted stable block with car parking and seating areas for each room just outside. Decent sized room with comfortable bed and small en suite. Staff were helpful and friendly. Dinner was pub f... cosa dice la gente » ood, pleasant and traditional. The main plus was that it was a very short drive (less than 10 mins) to the Eurotunnel. For anyone who was staying long - We had a very comfortable stay at The Rose and Crown in the beautiful village of Elham. The staff were charming, the room was lovely and spacious, and the evening meal delicious. Perfectly placed for the channel tunnel. As we left too early for breakfast,the staff kindly left a very generous breakfast tray in our room. We enjoyed our stay thank you.
