Cosa dice la gente
Having read some reviews we were quite well prepared and so asked for an apartment with the bedroom at the back (apt 2). The rooms at the front are on a main cobbled street and directly opposite a pub so can be very loud but we didn't mind this as we knew about it in advance and were happy that our young son was fast asleep at the other end of the flat. The flat itself is gorgeous. Very luxurious, nice wooden floors and great sofa, TV etc. very special. The location is also brilliant, just two. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
My Young Street Apartments are located in the new section of town, a 15 minute walk from the train station. It's a great location to see the city. We stayed in apartment 2, which was perfect for our needs. The apartment was spacious, with a newly refurbished bathroom, a full kitchen, and a large sitting room in addition to the comfy bedroom. The apartment faces a great pub, but because the bedroom is situated at the rear, we didn't hear any noise at night. We arrived a bit late, so the ren.
We had a fabulous time at My Young Street Apartments. We shared the flat
with another couple and we had plenty of room to spread out. The
apartment was in walking distance to all the venues we wished to attend
which made getting around the main area of Edinburgh a breeze. Having a
washing machine in the flat was also a bonus.
Everything about this apartment is outstanding, We had no.3 On the
second floor which over looked the street and pub opposite, and
eventhough we had the windows open throughout our stay we were never
disturbed. Excellent location with fantastic bars and restaurants all
along Hill and Thistle St.
We loved everything, including the service from Fiona and Sarah. The apt was much bigger than we had expected, the beds were super comfy, the heat was perfect, and the windows open if you want a bit of fresh air. The washer/ dryer very handy, all the kitchen utensils you d ever want.
It has microvawe and Classic oven, a cooker, washing machine, refrigerator, dish washer, cattle, iron. It was like a true home. A family with 2 children can comfortably live in there. The bathroom is big and clean. It is 5-min walk away from the princess street.
Excellent location, main office was easy to find for key collection despite having initial reservations about this. Apartment was beautifully finished, very spacious and immaculately clean.
Great property with new fittings inside. Everthing worked. Great location for getting to New Town Princess street or Old Town Royal mile. 15 mins from everywhere, yet away from noise.
The city location was great with easy access to the train station, restaurants and city sights. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
The location is great, located in new town. Very easy to figure out where you are going and everything is an easy walk, shopping and sites.
A lovely place, great facilities, ideal location and lovely pub across the road. Definitely recommend and use again.
Excellent location. Flat well furnished. Very comfy beds and great bathroom. Tea and milk there when you arrived.
Plenty of space and very close to the centre of Ebinburgh. Self contained plus a washing machine.
Very easy check in and out. Very central in Edinburgh. Clean, stylish. Good value for money.
Great location very easy to find very clean and tidy couldn't ask for any better.

Great location. Apartment was well set up.
Location and decor.
Central location was good for the Festival. Clean and comfortable apartment.
good location, spacious apartment.
Location.
The shower head seems to be broken so a single spray of water is escaping over the top of the screen which is causing a bit of damp. It didn't bother us for two nights but it could get worse if in regular use.
Also, some people could be very put off by the noise at the front, especially when buses are going directly past the window!!.
The only thing that I can mention here is that there was no plug
provided for the sink to do the dishes. We asked for one and it
didn't eventuate. The response was that there was a dishwasher that
would do the job, but just one block of dish washing detergent was
provided and we were staying for more than one night. For the
apartment's owners/agents the exhaust fans in both bathrooms are
extremely clogged which could lead to damage in the bathrooms and the
freezer needs to be defrosted.
There were a couple of minor things that are easily fixed ie. Missing
glasses. Very limited parking and wardens everywhere!!! Pay to park
while you unload.
Nothing.
No air conditioner.
Young Street was very busy with traffic despite being very narrow however this didn't impact on our stay or enjoyment. £310 seemed expensive for 2 nights however this wouldn't stop us booking to stay again. Fantastic weekend!.
No convenient parking. If you have a car then there is trouble finding parking for it all day long.
The apartment was noisy at night due to passing cars over the cobbles outside. This probably wouldn't have been a problem if we didn't have our 17 month old with us. There was also noise from the bar opposite when people left. Double glazing would probably make a huge diffence to the noise.
Nothing.
No tea cloths and only one tea spoon. Minor point but irritating!.
Water pressure in the shower was very low.
Wireless internet was a bit problematic. Signal was not strong in every place.
Difficult to find fault.
There was a few cracks and chips in the plaster in the bedroom and the lock on the bathroom door doesnt lock.
The curtain rail fell down as it wasn't fixed
The bedroom lamp didn't work.
The check-in location is a mile from the apartment.
Noise early morning. Single glazing.
the water pressure is not enough.
No hot water in shower, particularly bad in ensuite. We contacted the office, but there was no improvement. Complained via email, but the owner completely ignored us and did not respond. You don't expect this from a 'luxury' rental.
hard mattress, the apartment is really really clairaudient,.
Dirty kitchen
Dirty sofa
Very few cloths hangers
TV reception not great
Noise from street and pub
Management team poor on info re keys.
