  What a wonderful place to stay. You couldn't ask for better hosts than Michael and Christine . Nothing was a bother or to much to ask for. Every evening we returned to a roaring fire in the lounge and every morning we looked out on the gardens while choosing from the wide variety of breakfast offerings all of which were outstanding. The breakfast conversation was won - Everything. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners Michael and Christine really do care for their guests. The breakfast menu was incredible, with a 'choice of the day' in addition to fruit etc., high quality cereals, a full english or a selection from and, home made bread toasted. The bed linen and towels were of high quality, with each pillow having chocolates (wrapped) as a welcome gift.   Being a lone female traveller I am always careful about where I stay. I picked The White Horse because of the good reviews it had and I wasn't disappointed. Lovely place, friendly staff, wonderful breakfast and what a lovely surprise to see Molton Brown products in the bathroom - something you would normally get in a 5 star hotel. Lovely welcoming and accommodating staff; a room that was quiet, comfortable, spacious and with a fabulous shower (not to mention Molton Brown toiletries); a quaint little restaurant (make sure you book for dinner); good location with easy parking off road. Very little to fault!
