Cosa dice la gente
I liked the fact it was a lodge with my own door going out onto a small verandah. I had my dog with me and this was great for her to get out and in. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, also very dog friendly and made a fuss of Molly. Ian made sure we were happy with everything. We were there to cheer on the family members running in the Highland Fling and the location was perfect. We had a meal in the restaurant at night and all 8 of us enjoyed it. Dogs were allowed into the bar area whic. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Privacy to chalet and car parking at the door. Chosen as dog made welcome and access for exercise easy. Good freshly cooked food, good portions including an excellent choice for breakfast. Bed comfortable, en.suite and facilities for hot drinks. Have used again and will do so in future for one night stop over. We found the staff to be very helpful and the open fire in main building was a welcome sight in the cold weather.
the owners are extremely friendly and accommodating as were all the staff we met.
they have a very relaxed atmosphere in the public areas
the food was all home made and very nice at very reasonable prices
the sing=a=long on the saturday night was fantastic
bed comfy and clean.
The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful making sure our holiday was
enjoyable and not the disaster
it could have been due to a booking error. The food was very good and the breakfasts were excellent nothing was too much trouble.
Food was excellent far better than expected. To be able to do what you want at your own lodge was great. We will be back with family and friends found the location great for a getaway with limited mobile signal it suited our break away.
The staff were fantastic, very friendly always checking everything was ok and upto standard. The food was amazing good home cooking. Atmosphere in the restaurant and bar was outstanding and everyone including guests were friendly.
The food was excellent; the staff were brilliant. The accommodation was very unusual; like sleeping in a Wendy House. Everything that you need is supplied and the entertainment in the bar was 100 times better than TV!.
We only stayed over for one night on route to the Isle of Skye but were greeted with friendly staff who showed us to our lodge before taking our order for a great value evening meal in the restaurant.
Original pub with cabins. Cabins are equiped with standar privat bathroom and front porch. Good place for exploration of Loch Lomond NP. Do not miss wisit of the pub for dinner and beer.
I liked the kindness of the staff and the decorstion of the little lodges. Also it is dituated next to the paths into the mountains. And nice food.
Really friendly staff, were happy to meet our needs, early breakfast at the weekend, rooms very comfortable and was ideal for what we needed.
The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. The cabin was very comfortable and especially liked the verandah to sit outside on.
The ability to have our dog with us.
Our bed was comfy and the food delicious.
Both the staff and the owners made us very welcome.
the staff and management were helpful and very friendly. food was good .I had a very pleasant stay and would certainly return.
The owners Jennie & Ian were really friendly. Locals and residents mixed really well in the bar. Good home cooked meals.
The location was superb in the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful with things like weather reports.
Lodges in amazing setting, surrounded by mountains. Adjoining hotel and food excellent. Perfect for overnight stop.

Staff,food,location,value for money.
position, wooden bungalows, kitchen.
Friendly atmosphere and good food.
Food + staff + location.
the bed.
The welcome is lovely and the place is really relaxed and fiendly. Our room was cosy and quaint, with the heater on for us arriving (thank you). We ate in the bar at night and the food was excellent and good value too. Breakfast was also nicely cooked and plentiful. Nice location so we'd definitely come back again.
Staff were lovely, accommodation was very, very basic, small, just enough room to sleep. Shower hot but not much pressure.
Breakfast was excellent, dinner was excellent and reasonably priced.
Internet access free in main building.
Although this establishment is on a main road we were not aware of road noise.
Thanks to the gracious staff & interesting guests, this was a most memorable stay. The meals at the lodge were excellent, accompanied by live music in the evening. Played some snooker & added our autograph to the wall. Felt right at home.
Location, great friendly atmosphere in the bar with live music on the night we stayed.
Friendly staff, simple but adequate services. Good parking.
The food and staff were excellent.
MY LOVLIES.
Staff, meals and breakfast were very good.
Friendlystaff Excellent B/fast.
Due to the location, the mobile network signal was very poor. Obviously no fault of the Ben More, just the Monroes surrounding it.
We used during low season but noise could be a nuisance from adjacent chalets during busy periods. Depending on provider mobile phone signal may not be available.
bedroom cabins a wee bit tired.
The lodges were a little dark and not very appealing on first approach, once inside they were fine.
The bed was too hard for me, but my partner thought it was perfect.
There was nothing i didnt like.
It was very noisy until after 3 am, but that was due to the entertainment in the bar carrying on back at the chalets.
Unfortunately the front porch was fresh painted and was smelling by painting.
Nothing.
We found nothing to dislike about Ben More Lodge.
Nothing.
The room was fine for me as a single man but would be very cramped for a couple.
wish our holidays were longer.
liked everything.
Only one towel (no hand towel) and now bath mat for coming out of shower. Do admit to being picky with this.
The room was very small
OK for an overnight short stay, but not great for longer stays.
Bathroom/shower slightly below par.
Found the bed a uncomfortable.
Nothing !.
bit dusty room,
sunday breakfast finishes at 9.00 for residents, way too early for a sunday morning.
lack of entertainment.
some parts of the structure need to be better upkept (but it's not a major issue).
Road noise.
of course the weather.
Bed Was to Hard.
The room is pretty small and with the heater on it wasn't possible to get into my side of the bed other than by climbing on from the end, not ideal. Would have preferred a wee sofa rather than the extra bed but understand that it makes the room more flexible.
We were in a triple unit which had very thin walls and you had the impression of being in a caravan. Fortunately the neighbours were very quiet and were only there to sleep so we didn't really hear them.
Damn midges.
Very uncomfortable bed, noisy party outside cabins till 3am, so we didn't get much sleep. Eggs poached in vinegar...!.
Single bed was broken and needed repair. Facilities generally were tired and needed upgrade.
No drying room for outdoor gear.
The accommodation was too expensive for what it was.
My dinner was terrible.
