  The Bulls Head was the perfect find for us, Quiet and lovley place to stay for a well earnt rest, stayed in the selfcatering apartment no 10 just perfect for us, having been greeted by the very nice Mrs King and shown to our apartment we had a very enjoyable rest all the staff were very pleasant and helpful, nothing was to much and the locals were... cosa dice la gente » also very nice. nice surroundings gardens and views, We have found our little retreat already thing about our next visit, Thank you Norma & John - Being self employed my self I understands they hours that go into a business to keep it running smoothly and I could see that this business is family run and they work very long hours but still have a happy smile on there faces when ever you see them, they couldn't do enough to please us. The whole place was lovely warm, We Will be returning again in February

  We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff. Reception was smooth and we were quickly shown to our spacious, well appointed and very comfortable room. Although we arrived quite late (9.10pm), the restaurant was still open and we were able to enjoy a delicious reasonably priced carvery meal. Breakfast was hearty and generous, served by friendly and a... cosa dice la gente » ttentive staff. Our entire stay was pleasurable and we left with a warm feeling and a determination to return to The Down in the future. - I arrived at the hotel late and was offered an evening meal even though the kitchen was closing. Plenty of parking and I was able to walk straight up to my room via the rear verandah. Great location, the countryside surrounding the hotel is pure Shropshire. Fantastic hearty english breakfast freshly served to order. While I was having my breakfast one the kitchen staff kindly printed off a presentation in hardcopy that I needed for a meeting.

  It showed that olde time service was still available and doerable. The friendliness of the owners was terrific and truly well meant. They made sure all was right for everyone. If anyone was EVER hungry after their breakfasts it was their own fault.!
