  I liked the friendliness of the staff who did go that extra to help out. The bar food was reasonably priced for London and of good quality. The half price first drink was extremely welcomed after a long day. Free wifi good. Breakfast adequate. Lots of seating in the lounge area.   Excellent location. Very easy to find from Greenwich DLR station, so good public transport links into the centre, coupled with plenty to see and do in and around Greenwich itself. Doesn't try to do too much, just concentrated on doing what it does well. And generally succeeds. - Staff was very kind and welcoming.   The friendliness of the staff, quiet location and central to the train station, bus routes etc as well as the shopping centre. Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. Nice to have cereal, milk juice and coffee/tea making facilities in room. I stayed there a couple of years ago with a friend as we were going out for the night and had a twin room... cosa dice la gente » and this year I visited that friend and stayed solo in a single room and felt comfortable in doing so. - Aberdeen Guest House is very convenient for Ilford station, which has excellent links to Liverpool Street (15 minutes). The owner is very friendly & helpful, and though breakfast isn't included milk, cereals and fruit juices are provided in the room. The tea & coffee in the room is not in sachets, much nicer !! Room wasn't en-suite but there are several spacious bathrooms - clean with plenty of hot water !

  Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs. Takes 20minutes and it is also a 5 min walk to the closest train station. The hostel was qu - The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that.
