I stayed in room 219.It was clean and smelled clean. Generous sized room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet offered a broad range of healthy breakfast choices.Location was good. Tram into city center is just a few min walk away and takes only 15min.

The location of the hotel was good, the ABBA Museum is in the same building in the basement. The Vasa Museum and the Nordisk Museum sa well sa Scancen are very close.
You can take the Hop on Hop off bus to see the central Stockholm - the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is very small.

The rooms are beautiful and very practical. The beds have two small single bed duvets but i was alone and was not an issue. Reception is open 24/7 so had no problem checking out at 2 in the morning. Considering that I stayed during June when the dusk hours are about
three a day, my room had sufficient light blocking drapes. The breakfast
was good, varied. The rooms are modern, clean, and with kitchen, which
was important to me as I was bringing a cheese back to the States that I
hiked into the Alps to purchase. :) The staff were very friendly and
super helpful. It's a quick Tunnelbana to T-Central. For me, the old
portion of the city was within a very comfortable walking distance.

The hotel's location is perfect in the middle of everything with a fantastic view on the Royal Palace. The staff is very friendly - beyond even what one would expect in a hotel of that class. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!

The best staff we ever met! Helpful and super-friendly, always available for a chat with plenty of suggestions on what to do and where to go in Stockholm. The hostel is new, modern and absolutely clean. We loved the kitchen area with plenty of facilities to cook and relax, there is free wifi all over the hostel and a computer with free internet, great to plan your day. The board at the entrance with the must-see places in Stockholm another brilliant idea. Definitely a hostel to recommend.

This was a fantastic hotel room. By European standards the room was
large with a separate shower stall that wasn't over the toilet. The
television has a large screen with English channels.
It is conveniently located within walking distance to Stockholm central station. Great value. I booked several months in advance and got a great rate. When I did have a question, I picked up the phone in the lobby and spoke with very nice staff who fixed my issue.

i liked the hotel a lot....not just because it was 5mins from the city away, it was the comfortable bed and the feeling u would sleep in ur own bed !
maked me fall in love with this small cute hotel.
we had a room without window but we didn't really miss it.

We only stayed for one night since we had to get to the airport the next morning and didn't want to risk not making it from Örebro to Arlanda in one stretch. This hotel was the most affordable close to the central station and we booked a room without a window since we only needed it for sleeping. The interior of the room and bathroom is modern ikea style, which appeals to me. Small but with everything you need and a flat screen tv.

I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only
the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a
double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful :
- comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise)
- easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin"
- big case for valuable belongi

The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since
food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy
food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too,
In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice.
I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
