This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'. For those who do not like walking though, the Gamla Stan station is only 3' walk from the Old Town Lodge. I would definitely recommend it and if I ever go back I would s

Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. Great location: the rooms with the river view (ask for them!) have an amazing and romantic view on the Old City (Gamla Stan). Location is perfect to explore the city. We tried the standard twin-Hostel cabin: small as expected (it's a boat!) but still very comfortable and very clean. The shared bathrooms and showers are in good number, big and super-clean: never needed to wait in 5 days!

I realy like that it was quiet and a friendly athmosphere.
It was a lot of showers and wc so I never feel that I has to wait for this.
It was emasing to see that it works so well to drive a hostel without staff/reception.
Very clean bedrooms and no smoke from these ho use the entrencedoor for smokingarea. -

Cheap according to Stockholm standarts. This hotel has spacious rooms, bathroom inside the room, and even windows ! Excellent position (5 minutes walk from Central Station, 3 from Drottningatan, which is the major pedestrian street of the city, and 10 minutes from Gamla Stan). Room is little but clean and cosy. Even if at street level the noise is acceptable. Free fast wi-fi. Nice guest.

The rooms were small, but comfortable and very clean. The bathrooms although shared were spotless, and the showers were good. We only stayed for one night, and were on a budget so the central location of the hotel and very cheap prices made it perfect for our trip.
