Pensión El Rincón - Foto
Cosa dice la gente
It was a bit of a mission to locate El Rincon as most lanes are one-way
and the nearby neighbourhood was a bit seedy. But don’t let the outside
appearance fool as once inside with the car safely parked free in a
large garage on site the impression changed. We had a recently
renovated third floor room with ensuite. The free wifi was a bit
intermittent but the pension is just a few minutes walk to the centre
of the old town where there are plenty of cafes and restaurants.
Excellent value for mone. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
El Rincon was well-located near to centre city, restaurants and coffee shops, touristy stalls and a really good local fresh food market and city tourist attractions. We were lucky enough to happen across a small religious parade of an icon through the streets. We were able to walk from the train to the hostal which is located in the old town.
I was traveling arround spain with my car and i stay one night in that hostel. For the price that i pay 13€, i was able to park my car in a private parkin for free. I was staying in a clean room wth bathroom on the floor (not a big deal comparing what i pay)...i recomment to everybody this hostel.
I love the hotel, just 5 mins from the center town, the bus stop for the
bus n19 to the seaside very close to the hotel. Staff very nice,
"George"very friendly, he hellped lots, gave me the map showed
all driction and kept our bags for over 5 hours.
Spacious room with huge bathroom.Powerful, hot shower.
Clean. Good mattrasses.
Perfect location for sightseeing in the centre.
Quiet.
A lot of value for the money (particularly rooms with a shower; ask for room 222).
Location. It's almost in the center of the historical center. The nearest bus station is at less than 3 min. walking, and the nearest metro station ( Angel Guimeira) at 10 min.
My room was huge. Almost all of Valencia's many sights are in walking distance. Some, like the central market and La Lonja, are almost next door. Good wi-fi coverage.
I liked that with my poor Spanish on the phone I did get response from
the non-english speaker who slowly repeated to me when the english
speaker will be available.
- cheap
- very central in Valencia
- close to the beautiful market
- clean room
- big bathroom and shower
- good internet connection in the lobby
- good blinds.
The location is outstanding, and the place is very economical. The manager was really helpful and tried all his best to facilitate all the guests.
Very central location at an unbeatable price. Breakfast not available but the central market with things to buy and a few cafes very nearby.
Very basic but very clean place situated on the edge of the tourist centre. Excellent value for money. Free car parking was a bonus.
Located very close the Central Market. An older hotel and it shows, but a good value for the money.
The staff es very friendly and willing to help. The room was massive and it's very well located.
value for money great location cheaper than dorms or youth hostels quit basic but comfortable.
Amazing central location
Free parking
Did everything we needed it to
Excellent value.
Location - in the old town - within walking distance of what we wanted to see -.
The fact that it has a parking garage is fantastic. In the middle of Valencia.
A well-maintained room with all the basic facilities for an excellent price.
- free parking in the hotel
- big and clean room
- location - in city center.
Very good location, friendly staff, clean big room, good value for money.
Special thank to the stuff at the reception, the men was very friendly.
Great hostal, great location, great price! Will definitely go back!.
Free WiFi, parking. Very good location for to go sightseeing.
Excellent location, friendly staff! Would definitely go back!.
very cheap price and clean for the money with own bathroom.
Perfect location, air-condition, clean, fresh, big room.
Good value for money, perfect location and nice staff.
Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Almost in center, parking, a very good price.
Best location, clean rooms, nice staff.
Location. Staff friendliness. Price.
Value for money and great location.
Great value and friendly staff.
It's cheap and comfortable.
parking free and location.
Great value for money.
We were traveling by car and it was perfect to leave the car at the free private parking. The most of staff didnt speak english, but they was trying to help in any case. Room was very poor (bed, and chair) but clean. There are AC there but working only lke cold and it was november and we needed heatering))) location is perfect.
price and location - right in the historic center of the city. yet... the place is so not for those who expect comfort and coziness, the room looked more like a dorm room, an old and shabby dorm room (which for me - was kinda nostalgic but, i believe, not for everyone).
Location is very good. Room was quite big with twin bed. I decided to check out after the first night and I wasn't charged for the rest time I booked.
In the morning everything was looking better. It is more like a hostel with decent price.
The location is great, very close to the city. The room was simple and had everything you needed for a short stay. There was also free parking, even if it is very cramped. It was also relatively clean.
The location was perfect, the hostel is 2-3 minutes away from the cathedral and lonja de la seda. The staff was very friendly, we arrived before 11 am and the let us in without any extra charge.
Very basic rooms, do not expect any comfort, it's just for sleep.
Inside hostel there is a bad smell, but in the room it was ok and rather
clean. The main thing is the price of your stay there.
Location ... in the very center of the city but not the best neighborhood
room was very clean, though also very simple (there's not even a TV-Set)
overall very good for the price!.
It's a hostal, so don't expect too much. But it had a useful private parking which was free and it was very well located ( just 5 min walk to the centre).
Cheapest hotel in Valencia, in the city center very close to Mercat
Central and walking distance from everything.
Very inexpensive! Fair sized room and bath. Excellent old-city location a short walk from Cathedral.
Location is excellent! And they have secure underground parking which was also great for us!.
In the center of town, close to the market and cathedral. Very cheap. Staff always there.
big room, great location, clean, everything a budget hotel should be.
No lift so a long walk up to the room on the third floor.
Spartanic interior: no paintings, just beds and very simple furniture. No problem if you use it just for sleeping.
The block where it is located is scary-looks like a grafiti-ridden war zone. But there are really nice plazas with good restaurants a few blocks away in every direction. There is a funny smell in the hallway. Staff is a little gruff.
For this money.. There was nothing not to like. :) I liked my stay a lot
in this pension. I like spicey food and the food in this area was very
blend. I heard when I came home that the area behind Xativa has more
spicey cuisine.
- I had insomnia and went to the lobby to check my emails (no good wifi in the bedroom, very good wifi in the lobby), but the staff told me that I could not stay there. I was disturbing nobody!
- a few ants in the bedroom
- 1 of the 2 chairs of the bedroom can be thrown away.
bring earplugs. The sound insulation was very poor in my room.
As usual in Spain, only the owner spoke some English.
Furniture a little old, as for me it was perfect anyway.
Couldn't get wifi in our room, but could out in the corridor.
neighbourhood was not bad , but not exactly good - but making upgrades.
A bit worn, but for the price it´s good.
bad wifi in the room (but it's good in the hall).
Furniture very old, too many rooms share one bathroom.
Audibility.
Wi-fi doesnt work in the room.
a lil bit slow personal.
Nothing.
Area is noisy at night, with "los borrachos" talking in loud voice, though the hotel does have good windows.
Wifi weak signal.
It was verry noisy - everything was heard from the other doors.
Lack of hot water for shower.
Strange staff, dodgy neighborhood.
there is no elevator, it's hard to lift things upstairs.
Poor furniture, door ringbell!!!!!!.
the reception guy seemed not to speak English (in fact, he was not much of a speaker at all).
Almost no furniture. My main issue was that it could be cleaner. When I arrived at night surroundings looked pretty depressing as well as interior of the building with long narrow corridors.
The staff member at the front pretty much gave us the key and that was it. We just had to find our own way around the hotel and its facilities.
However, the rooms were small and not renovated for a long time. There was no air conditioning system or ventilator, so it's rather uncomfortable during hot summer nights.
No gels and shampoos. Wi-fi works only at the reception.
not all rooms have the same standard - I recommend those with a bathroom included.
No Internet in the rooms, had only connection in the corridor.
Installations (specially some bathrooms) are old, building needs
renovation, bed sheets and covers are old as f*ck.
No TV or elevator.
Definitely budget accommodation. Was ok for an overnight stay but had the bare minimum and wasn't the nicest so don't know if I could stay longer.
Kind of dirty, but the bed was clean, and the bathrooms. But considering the price I can't complain.
Some noise from reception area.
