  The hotel is very good standard for 4 star. The buffet has excellent choice of food but can be busy especially in the evening. Great facilities for children and the animation team were very good with mini disco. Beautiful pools with paddle pool for small toddlers.   When I booked the Guinate apartments I was worried as there was a lot of negative feedback. Before we arrived at the Guinate we were given a code to access a small box outside the entrance to collect the keys. This was easy to do. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped. It had an oven, toaster , kettle and a lot of cutlery to include ... cosa dice la gente » bread knives. I have stayed in other apartments in lanzarote and the pots were all cheap quality. At the Guinate the cooking pots were excellent. It a - Visited alone without the family and was exactly what I needed. Was not out for luxury or night clubs but to be able to relax after a busy period. Was a peaceful place to stay. The possibility to have your own keys to the main gate to the area was great. Standard was basic with not too tiny rooms. Very friendly personal. Can really really go there back also with the family
