It was an absolute delight to stay at Hotel La Casuena. The hotel is in a small and very attractive village above a lake a few kilometres from the top of Portalet pass. Our hosts, Marian and Miguel, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The hotel is lovely with great artistic touches throughout and it has clearly been a "labour of love"

We had a GREAT time at la casueña and the owners did It even better... They are sooo lovely. Fantastic breakfast with all kind of detail and good taste for food and decoration. We Used the bicycles to have a ride through the montains!! WOOW! No words to describe It! And the house is in a small beautiful village! Not to be missed!! We Will come back for sure! Thank you so much for making It so special!!

Not sure if breakfast and parking were/were not included.
letsbookhotel.com listed them as separate prices but at check out we were
asked what we were quoted for parking - meaning it changes with each
customer? Not sure. We never took breakfast as it was 6 euro per person
(as quoted on letsbookhotel.com). Anyway, Ogi Berri down the road has

Great staff, very clean and very familiar ; the breakfast was good as well.
It doesn´t look like a 2-star hotel.If I come back to Formigal I'll stay there once again.
It isn't too close to the slopes (about 3km away) but if you choose to stay in Formigal you'll also have to take a bus or car to get to the slopes (the parking is free of charge).

Wonderful service - professional, helpful and kindly caring. Lots of storage in our bedroom. Beautiful view from the window. Great starting point for superb walks. We loved this hotel.

we were surprised at how large and nice our one-bedroom suite was. The kitchen was adequate for simple cooking. There was a deck with great views. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast was very good. -
