BcnStop is a centrally located decent compact accomodation probably less than 10 minutes walk down to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral. The neighbourhood is rather safe and pleasant. I got a single room with private toilet and bathroom. The staff knew English a little, but they are very kind and helpful. They tried the best to answer my questions. The room was clean and comfortable, and it was really better than what I expected from a hostel.

Hostel fontanela is great-location is few minutes from city center and
metro station and it is not so loud like in la Rambla.It is very clean
and staff is very pleasant and helpful.I Would recommend it to everyone.

I liked a lot Barcelona.I is a great city .Hotel Everest was also a very good choice for our holiday .Staff were very friendly. It is really close to Sagrada Familia - 10 minutes walk -for real .Also SANT PAU metro station is nearby.There are very nice place to eat or to drink coffees nearby.Choose room 711 or others like this because has terrace

I like the location as a solo traveller it is away from the bustle of the centre, but close to La Sagrada Familia and Hospital de Sant Pau. On previous visits I have stayed in one of the apartments - very good. All the rooms are spotlessly clean, beds are comfortable. Big bathroom, again spotlessly clen.

My 2 friends and I had a wonderful 4-night stay in June at Zoorooms.
Steve (the Manager) was friendly and informative and he gave us a map
that marked out the sights, eateries and bus stops nearby. His map was
so helpful, it was in tatters by the end of our stay cos we’d referred
to it so much. We got the room, consisting of a double and a single bed,
which opened out to the terrace. Having that terrace was great cos it
felt like an extension of our room. Bathroom was fantastic and very
clean, -
ZooRooms is well located, close to Passeig de Gracia and subway, it is
also easy to get from/to airport by Aerobus. Inside it is very nice
and clean, with a fresh touch of design :) Beds are really comfy, water
in the shower is hot and stream is good (usually hotels like to limit
the stream ;). Also there are a good equipped kitchen and a room with
sofas and iMac to relax with friends and plan your trip in Barcelona.
And the terrace is awsome! Couple of hammocks, bbq and other facilities
to spe

The receptionist was very nice but a little "not all there" which was really funny. It seemed to me he didn't speak too much Spanish (yes I know...) but we where able to understand each other eventually.
