  Location is excellent for both nightlife and sightseeing/museums, hardly had to use transportation. I was alone in the room with two beds for a little more than 30 euro!   The staff at Numancia, especially the man on the front desk the majority of the time are excellent. All our needs were met and any requests were willing to be accommodated including leaving our luggage there for a whole day (as our train trip was at night).   The hotel location could not be beat. The breakfast was good and plentiful and was served until 11am. The hotel also had check-out times as late as 3pm. - Clean, quiet and comfortable room with plenty of space to move around. Older hotel but reasonably well maintained. Breakfast was acceptable.

  I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. Was a very sweet surprise to find 2 towel swans waiting for us, accompanied by a small bottle of c - I liked everything about this hostel. It is on the 5th floor but don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna, and the Opera house. The

  We enjoyed our stay in Madrid! The room was very nice, clean and decorated with a lot of love. It was in the city center and all sights are in walking distance. The personal was very friendly and warm-hearted. We felt welcome and would recommend the hostal. :-) - Everything was excellent!
