Rosie, the lady who welcomed us and served our breakfast was very sweet, friendly and helpful. She couldn't speak English but used a translate app on her tablet which worked excellently well.
Loved the outdoor decked area.

The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably

Location is fantastic - just on Ramblas, very close to the metro station (Drassanes) . Gothic quarter just around the corner, and so also Palacio Guell. Cathedral 10 minutes walk from the Hotel.
Staff was very helpful.
The room was quite spacious and reasonably clean.
Breakfast reasonably good.
Overall, I think that we got our money worth.

la gentilezza del personale - Ho apprezzato la disponibilità di alcuni dipendenti e il fatto che nonostante la modestia delle camere e dei bagni, fossero comunque puliti. L'albergo è situato vicino ad una fermata della metropolitana e questa particolarità ha sopperito al fatto che fosse in una posizione poco centrale.

Exelent hotel for budget stay in Barcelona. Great stuff, especially a middle aged man on the reception, he gave us a city map, a metro map, explained how to get to the most popular turistic places and recommended some good restaurants. Breakfasts were very good, included a variety of products. Hotel description is 100% correct.

It was only three minutes from the metro station and only 15 minutes from the old town for these persons who love walking and 10 minutes from Sagrada Famiglia. It was very clean, they clean the room every day and they change towels every time that you ask for it. Perfect wi-fi in the room and the staff is the most polite and helpful we 've ever met. They gave us a map of the town with the most popular monuments and they adviced us for everything that we asked. There is a lift. Very safe streets

We were happily surprised. It is a low profile hotel. No grand entrance, but home like. The room was spacious, clean, newly styled, comfortable with a wonderful balcony view of the city. The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours. The neigherhood is safe and there is life going on up until 2:00 a.m., but it does not disturb the guests. We loved it. This hotel can accomodate those with who walk with a cane/walker. 1) Wonderful staff - Alex was great but George was amazing - both really helpful and kind. Anything in their porwer will be done for your convenince stay.

A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous! It's walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and just about walking distance to Las Ramblas and then onto the beach. It's also very close to Tetuan metro stop. You get what you pay for and this was very inexpensive. All I needed was a bed and an en suite with shower as I was attending a conference and eating out at night. I got exactly what I paid for. I could have stayed at the renaissance which was 9 times the price but why bother as I never use the facilities

This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.
