  The staff was really nice, they all speak English, it's valueable as not many people in Spain can. The hostel manager Marc was polite and he even agreed to wait until our arrival (at 0:30 a.m.). The rooms vere poorly designed, but they were authentic, as the hostel is located in a rather old building (I think).   The hotel had a lot of charm. It was clean (clean towels daily and beds changed during a 5 night stay), a great shower with plenty of very hot water, comfy beds and heating! It's a great hotel for a group of friends on a short break - The location was brilliant! - just off La Ramblas, 2 minutes walk from the metro and 3 minutes walk from a Carrefour supermarket. We couldn't hear the street noise at all, which meant that after a day surrounded by the buzz of the city, our room was a good place to relax, switch off from the noise, and sleep!   The people and the location is the best! - The staff was really friendly, towels and lockers free of charge were also a great adv. Breakfast included in the price! I would not expect too much of that though. Location is really good, max. 5 minutes walking to the hostel's entance after the metro doors close behind you.
