This place is terrific; it's in the middle of nowhere, a tidal marsh part way between Santander and Bilbao. I'm not go to say more about location because I don't want more people (particularly Englishmen) to find this place. Seriously the rooms couldn' - While all of the places we stayed in Cantabria provided good and well priced accommodation, Los Gallos was the gem. The room was large, well equipped with air conditioning, a balcony and a new two sink, big shower bathroom. The staff spoke little English but they were very helpful and produced everything needed. There was a wide range of choice at breakfast, the restaurant food and wine were excellent and the bar produced draught Sam Miguel XV, wines, cocktails accompanied by tapas. Good atmos
