Great selection at breakfast and dining choices in general hard to beat. Doormen and hotel staff, including maids, in general we're exceptional. Location for best of Durban cannot be beat. Japanese restaurant was awesome, everything was delicious. -

l would have rated excellent on facilities,but telephone was not working and had to go downstairs to order room service which was a nightmare. Food server was horrible,given wrong order drink,to top it all,it was delivered 1/30(one

The staff was very friendly and warm. We were treated very well. The location of the hotel was very central to most tourist attractions and there was a great vibe. The breakfast was very nice as well. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value

Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.

Excellent!!! Like others who have stated...I rarely leave comments ...I had read some negative comments which made me somewhat uncomfortable..wanted to stay on the Beach..but I am glad I chose Quarters..the staff was one of the Nicest and Friendliest I have ever encountered...breakfast was GREAT..Rooms perfect..I have traveled from Alaska to Cape

The staff were excellent; friendly service, more than accommodating.
Room was perfect. Bathroom were lovely.
The meals were delicious, room service was quick, and when I was sick for a day in bed, the staff were more than happy to check up and see if I needed anything.
Very, very much appreciated and one of the nicest places to stay at a good rate.
Highly recommended.

The gate men, the receptionists and women staffers (more so from the restaurant, the JAM) were super. The displayed professionalism at all times and were extremely friendly. Lovely people who were helpful at all times.

A beautifully appointed guest house. Very friendly and welcoming owner and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. We love it and always go back when in Durban. -

Is an oldish rambling property on a steep hill not too far from the
central beach area. Not the easiest place to find because the
authorities have changed the name of the street but worth finding.

The place itself is hidden from the street - you wouldn't know
it's there. Once inside its like a secret garden. The whole place
has a lovely light and airy feel. The terrace is a great place to relax
over coffee, drinks or breakfast with views through the palms and trees
of the ocean. The rooms are lovely with luxurious touches and a small
private outdoor space. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly,
carrying our luggage to and from the car and making sure we had
everything we needed.
