On check-in they claimed it was impossible for them to do the police registration by the next morning when we wanted to check out. Eventually, they did manage to do it. The first room assigned to us (on the fourth floor) had a most unpleasant smell in it, and we requested another. The new room, on the ninth floor, was much better - quite good in fact. It was big and everything in it worked. Breakfast was also quite good. The hotel was quiet, and within walking distance of the pedestrian main shopping street, which was quite pleasant to walk around in.
The hotel's web site claims that they have private parking, but the receptionist (the same one who could initially not do the police registration) told us the only available parking was in the street. The WiFi (which their web site claims to be available everywhere) had such a weak signal on the ninth floor that I could not even do my e-mail.
My room had a strong unpleasant smell, perhaps from an oddly scented air freshener?
