Stay was excellent. The bicycle I borrowed was especially useful. Though, you should advise anyone cycling up to the university that if the department has a locked space to put bicycles during the day, then your guest should use it.

Close to the wharf area, where most of the activity is.
The flybybus drops you right at the front door, if coming to Bergen by air, and only a 20 minute walk to the station.
The room was very well appointed. The breakfast had a wide range from which to choose. 5 minutes from the fjord cruise boats.

This was a very nice condo hotel located on a ski mountain in the middle of the Fjord region of Norway. Everything about this property is on the high end of Norweign standards and at a reasonable price. Across Europe we seeked out ski resorts to stay at during the off season knowing the accommodations would be first rate and a good value. -

The bedroom was clean and a relaxing environment with modern, interesting styling and decoration. The bathroom was well laid out with high quality fittings to complement the wet room shower design. Breakfast was the usual hot and cold buffet with plenty of variety.

I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. Great breakfast with a very good range of options. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.

Now this, for Norway was value for money. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant, best pizza I've ever had. Couldn't believe the room and the view from the full wall of window, 20 foot high. Everything really good, highly recommended. -
The view of the lake and the mountains surrounding the town of Roldal was beautiful!

It was a good hotel, close to the centre and that is wat I wanted when Iwas looking for a hotel. Loved the internet access - It is close to the center and very hand to use during the weekend out with friends.I also like the idea to have breakfast outsie the door to be consumed when I feel like it.

Very close to the railway (5 min max. walking) and to the city center (10 min walking). Kitchen with microwave oven and tables. The cutlery can be borrowed from the bar opposite to the kitchen.
The rooms are clean and the shared bathrooms are most of the times clean (mostly depending on the other guests which are sharing the bathrooms with you).
The room had an electrical heating system, which was very good.

The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. A close walk to the center of town. Across the street from the train station and several blocks from the bus station.
