  Good central location, easy to walk to all attractions from the hotel. The rooms were basic and small but clean and the bed was comfortable. For the price in Oslo it was excellent value for money. WIFI was fast. Our room was so clean and comfortable 638. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and then went to Porsgrunn. Unfortunately we didn't book for our return stay and had to book into a different hotel :( as Smart Hotel was fully booked. Loved everything about it. Thanks for a wonderful stay - so friendly and welcoming, Will be back! xx

  Friendly smart attentive, and willing members of staff from check in to check out. Staff were the best I have known, primarily as quite chilled and not overly formal. I simply cannot stand any place where the staff appear subservient. Here the balance was perfect. Cleanliness 10/10. The only complaint I have is about the couple who sat at the breakfast - When I checked in to this Hotel i didn't like the first room I had, I am very particular in when it comes to colors of my sorounding specially when it comes to the colors of room or colors of the curtain( some people are just like this) I called the reception right away and asked them if they could give me another room with light soroudings...5 minutes later they gave me the room that was just perfect..excellent service..no wonder I am here when I am in Oslo.

I interacted with several of them over three days both to change rooms (I asked if I could move to the front) and due to a lost baggage issue I was having with the airline. I did move to the front where the room's high ceilings and high windows over looking the park were fabulous. It's a one block walk to the Nationaltheatret train/metro station (so getting to and from OSL airport is a breeze!) You're also within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. The room (I had a double) was quite nice, with large windows and high ceilings. Their breakfast was also on point (definitely worth waking up for, especially given how expensive food is in Norway.)   Great location, very close to the city center which you can walk to within 5-10 minutes. I have lived in Oslo 7 years ago and this is my second visit with my family. Because I knew the expensive prices of Norway, I was very satisfied with the price. Also the kitchen and everything was clean and well equiped so I could eat anything from the kitchen... cosa dice la gente » ! That saved me tons of money which I would have spent for restaraunt food. I read the other comments and was scared of the street noise (or pub noise - Good communication and the check-in procedure was quite convenient. Was sent an e-mail that the apartment is ready, went to the office and got the keys and a map handed to me. This is not a luxurious apartment, but the furniture was quite new when I stayed there. The kitchen is well equipped with tools (pans, knives, a microwave etc.).
