Situated in central Hemsedal, Hemsetunet is 1.5 km from Hemsedal Alpine Centre. It offers a free ski bus service, free parking and apartments with wooden interiors, a fully equipped kitchen and free Wi-Fi access. A seating area, fireplace and flat-screen TV are featured in all units at Hemsetunet Apartments. Kitchen facilities include a stove, fridge and dishwasher. Most apartments have a private sauna and access to a shared balcony. Norwegian à la carte dishes are served at Kjøkkenkroken Restaurant. After-ski is arranged on site in the winter season. Cross-country and hiking trails are found right next to the property. Ski equipment can be rented on site. A souvenir shop is located on site. Fishing is possible in River Hemsil, next to the property. The 9-hole Hemsedal Golf Club is 15 km away.

Very well located for a stop on the road from Oslo to Bergen. Landlord very nice, all transactions were done by email & text messages on cell phone, very easy to contact. Appartment is lovely and wide. Very easy to park the car, and main road not busy at night, so very silent. Clear reception; helpful member of staff. Spacious apartment, well set up with all that is needed. Service station opposite has basic food if needed. Easy to find. Good value.

Very nice apartment with all you need for a comfortable stay. CLose to shops and restaurants. OK apartement, very budget-friendly!!!. The apartment was cute. Hemsetunet Apartments has nice and spacious accommodations for a reasonable price. While the interior is pretty basic it has all you need for a pleasant stay. Helpfull staff. Honestly it was just one guy but he's able to solve all kind of problems. Well equipped, clean and comfortable. Having our own sauna was a definite bonus!. Spacious cabin, well equipped. Ideal for four. Location, centre of town. No washing machine (we found one in each appartment during our trip), and household appliances are a bit hold (I remember the microwave & fridge are not very new, but fully functional). But this is very minor compare to the benefits of the place!. We arrived after the ski season was over so everything was closed nowhere to eat or go for a stroll. - None. Outrageous price for sheets & towels. Room $92 sheets &168. Was expecting $9 to $12. Because we were there in the low season (beginning of June) there was nobody at the reception during our 3 day stay. While contact with someone from the hotel via sms and telephone was sufficient to find our key and apartment, I would have preferred to have someone available at the reception during check-in and check-out. Also because of the low season the restaurant on the premises was closed during our stay. 1. The highway just nearby 2. wi-fi connection was not good enough. The extra charges we had not been made aware of before arriving were a bit annoying. Plus it was a bit of a pain to not have access to linen or towels on our first night. No microwave which would have been useful. We arrived around midnight and there was no reception. No one answered the phone number which was on display. Eventually I found a key in a night box outside the office, but the room had no towels or sheets. The following morning there was still no one at reception. I received a text the following day asking why I hadn't arrived, eventhough I paid for my room in the gift shop listed in the reception window. The appartment could do with an upgrade a lot of wear and tear. Bedlinnen was not very clean and needed replacing some time ago.
