  Hotel Pax is a cute, clean place to stay for a few nights, and the location is absolutely superb. It's right on a major street between Anne Frank House and Dam Square. Lots to see and do, all within walking distance. From Central Station, it was only 2 short tram stops, then a 4 minute walk at most. It is an old building (like most part of houses there) with a big stair to enter. The owner is a very nice person and helped me with my baggage when I arrived. He also gave a lots of hints about the city and the touristic spots. Honestly, I was afraid of shared bathroom and shower, but they are individual e there aren't many rooms per floor, so every time I needed both were empty and I could use it. By the way,

  The location of the hotel was really close to all the hotspots within Amsterdam! The breakfast was simple but it was great for the money and it filled you up and got you going for the rest of the day. This couldn't be better located, 5 mins from central station, shop right outside, restaurants close by and bike rentals available right outside. 10 out of 10
