  The Canal House is located in a great quiet spot in the centre of Amsterdam. We could walk everything and the view over the canal was amazing!! The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and looked brand new. Eline and Take were great hosts and very helpful with everything. We will defiantly stay here again next time.   Loved the place! What's not to like? Don't understand the negative reviews. It is right on the canal, the view from my 2-d floor room was fantastic. It took me a little bit over an hour to get to the hotel from the airport - so easy to get to and to find. Tram #4 stops right on the bridge in front of the hotel and goes to and from the Central Sta... cosa dice la gente » tion - and there is a train that connects it with the airport. The room is very basic, but enough for a quick tour of the city (I stayed less than 24 - The host was great, he helped us with our bags and was really friendly. We actually had some changes to our room arrangements but we managed to come to an agreement regarding the payment so we appreciated the flexibility. Breakfast was normal, we didn't try everything though, but it was good enough for us. We got a room for 4 and it was spacious with wide windows which created a nice effect when the sun comes in during the day. We had a view of one of the canals which was lovely. The beds were

  Great location-10min walk to main Centre. A number of local bars and coffee bars around the corner. Tram stop to Amsterdam Central (number 4) just two mins away-saved taxi fares back to train station when leaving. Nice size apartments and supplied with coffee etc to get us started.   The people where really friendly and couldnt do enough for us for the duration of our stay. They where also very lenient when we where not out of the room at 11 and where patient while we got ready. Would visit again. - Amazing stay apartment was immaculate will definitely be back.
