Cheap and flexible traditional ryokan. The killer feature is the private
onsen which guests can use at leisure.
The onsite vending machine with alcoholic beverages is a nice touch.
It is also placed close to a nice sight seeing trail.
Super friendly helpful staff
Very good self made breakfast
Very clean
Good location
Own private onsen in the hotel
Overall a cosy stay where the owner really made you feel at home.tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Very convenient to the shrines and temples at the world heritage site--
about 10-15 minute walk.
Bath was shared onsen style, but you could turn the sign to OCCUPIED and lock the door.
This hotel was cosy, comfortable and clean with a fantastic location. It's not stylish, but the owners are very friendly and helpful.
Owners are wonderful and do everything possible to help their guests. Hot Springs Baths were in the hotel, which was great.
Excellent location! Very helpful staff.
The staff of the hotel is very kind and speak English quite well. They
have a plan of the touristic sites in Nikko. You can put your luggage in
the hotel if you arrive earlier. There is a bath like a little
"onsen" in the hotel. Globally it was a nice stay.
Close to Nikko's historic sites, comfortable and clean sleeping rooms, two bathrooms, which can be used by couples together. Staff is friendly and speaks sufficiently English. Reasonable price.
great location, beautiful place near the river and all major temples; quite and clean.
Hot spring bathtub is very nice.
Very well located.Near bus stop to go to Chuzenji lake. And near temples by 10min walk.
close to world heritage temples.
Some might find this a very simple, basic housing but it was clean and therefore ok to stay for a couple days.
Other than hotel, most places nearby don't open until 10 am for
breakfast, except 7/11 store. Few restaurants nearby.
So recommend getting breakfast at hotel. Also found that we need to eat dinner early before 4 pm -- most restaurants in Nikko closed by 5 pm.
A little musty and cluttered but you shouldn't let this put you off for 1 night.
You have to ask someone to find the hotel because it's not that far
but it's in a little street 10 min from the bus station. The style
is a little bit "old fashion". The breakfast is a little
expensive (1050 yen) but you have fruits (not easy in Japan) and many
others things to eat.
No dinner available, but recommendation of a Chinese style restaurant in short distance.
the place definitely requires some renovation; breakfast is clearly not worth even the modest money that asked for it. The overall feeling that it was the worst value for money for the whole trip in Japan.
Not very easy to find it!.
Quite expensive for the place itself.
Missing more shops or food rest. nearby the Inn.
poor accommodation (our bed was literally falling apart).
