  The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. It's easy to walk to anywhere in Ortigia from there. Or just to swim in the sea and sunbathe on the rocks. - We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

It's a pleasure do be dealing with the management as well and the language capabilities of the receptionists (plus their skills and local knowledge) is second to none.   Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. Dinner menu is good (would only have liked a bit more choice for starters). Staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. Room (4 persons) was great, with a downstairs ar... cosa dice la gente » ea with 2 single beds and an upstairs 'master bedroom'. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom has the best rain-shower ever. Highly recommended! - We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!
