I was met with an unbelievable warmth from the 2 ladies at the reception. It was like they new me before, even though that was my very first time of staying in Max hotel. I was delighted and grateful, having travelled from long distance and much more in a very wet wet wet weather, such welcome brought me comfort and assurance that I would enjoy my stay there, of course, I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used the word unbelievable because I travel to Italy 6 - 8 times in a year and with all honest.
tutti gli commenti dei clienti » When I stayed at Hotel Max they had been open for only three weeks. As a result they worked hard to impress their guests. I paid half price because I was a single guest, but I was given a double room. The flowers I had brought with me were put in a vase for me. The room was beautifully refurbished and the bathroom was new. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the front desk is open 24 hours a day. I recommend Hotel Max as a great, inexpensive place to stay in a grea. Stuff was very polite, helpful and they even invited us to their private party one night. WI FI was very good in the room. Excellent location in the very centre and just a minute walk from Termini station.Not fancy, but first quality breakfast with fresh and tasty ingredients. We would recommend it, especially if you like to stay in the center. The hotel is very well-located, two blocks from the Central Station/Metro Station. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. As the place was recently renovated (from ground up, as the manager told me), everything is brand-new. I enjoyed very much my stay! I would definitely recommend it. My room was great! It took a while to locate the place, however, when I called the hotel a lady came to pick me up and she was equally friendly. So there was no need for me to complain at all, I was just amazed and glad for the caring I received. The signposting of the hotel could be better. Hard to locate it from a distance. The entrance to the building is a common one for a number of other small hotels and businesses, but that is OK. The only bad thing about this hotel was the shower stall - unbelievably small, so much so I could barely get into it. But I guess that is the price you pay for staying at a nice place for a reasonable price. It was on a third floor (yet it seemed like the fifth lol), many tiresome flights of stairs to get there!!. just a little bit noisy from a window, and it's district of railway station around, so you must understand what does it mean). Room was a bit small but Ok for short and overnight stays. There was nothing we didnt like. Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facities in the room though. Hard to find ;). Area of hotel seems to be a bit sketchy. A bit tiny room. Exhaust fan in bathroom worked bad and bathroom was always damp. 3 rd floor. The drain in the bathroom floor had sewer gas smell. Put some water in the drain in the floor and the smell was much better but was still there. Room was extremely small.the shower room was horrible, dirty. The shower was so small you had to have a second person to pass you the shower gel as to bend down would have been extremely challenging! The bed was uncomfortable. There was no room for a suitcase etc.. The breakfast was awful. We used the toaster and it fused the lights in the building. The entrance to the hotel was via a corridor, steps then an antiquated lift to the 3rd floor. If I had not already paid I would have walked out.
