Hotel Fawlty Towers - Foto
Cosa dice la gente
i) For starters, Fawlty Towers is really close to Termini Station and this is quite an advantage for the average tourist who wishes to have quick and easy access to most of the city's areas.
ii) Our room was cleaned and taken care of every day. The room was also recently renovated (although this stands just for the 5th floor's rooms of the hotel).
iii) We had hot water all day and night long.
iv) In general, good quality for its price and it's more than sufficient for a 2 star accommodation. Th. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
As promised, Fawtly Towers is just a little over 1 block from Rome's Termini Station. The room was located on the 6th floor, but there is an old-style elevator for easy access. The lobby and breakfast room are on the 5th floor. There are several other hotels on lower floors, which looked more upscale. Fawlty Towers is quite spartan with no frills, but the price was right. No hairdryer in the bathroom but there was one in a bathroom across the hall and one that can be borrowed from the desk. The.
I liked the fact that the room on the the 5th floor was newly furbished and LCD in the room. Bathroom was very good, clean. The room was tidy and clean, and cleaned every day. The personnel knew very well English and very nice and helpfull. It was great to go outside and have breakfaston on the outside terrace. For us it was a very pleasant stay in this hotel. I defintely recommend. Location is very good - very very close to Termini station - there are 2 supermarkets. Easy to reach all sightse.
Very well located, 5 minutes from the Termini railway station. It is on the 5th floor, there is a lift. Very clean, safe, staff is friendly. The single room was small - with a comfortable double bed - but surprisingly modern and well equipped and the bathroom as well. There is a nice terasse. The breakfast is basic, but this is not the Hilton./good coffe, croissant, cake, Djuce/. Its really a good choice during your stay in Rome. And credit carde accepted!!.
the location is extremly good as it is 2mins from tremini station,as there is metro, bus station also shuttle buses to the airport, there are alot of restaurants & cafes in the area around
staff are very friendly & gave us advises about many places
room id comfortable with a very clean bathroom
also can use dishes & cups & microwave of the dinning area.
The hotel is really great for the low price. The location is great. The
stuff very helpful. The room and the bathroom are very clean, the bed
sheets fresh, there is even tv on the wall. Breakfast is good, sweet
croissant, tart and hot cappuccino. You can eat on the terrace and
"breath" Rome.
We were impressed. It was incredibly clean and beautiful. The staff was very helpful too. The room was very comfortable, quite large bathroom. The breakfast was also great: tasty croissants, tart and marmalade. It is located literally next to the termini station (one block away).
The location is excellent, less than 5 mins walk from the central station. We first worried about the safety of area near Rome terminal central station, but we walked pass the station at night and found that it was safe. Free wifi was provided.
I booked this hotel for my parents, who are a mature couple, and this review reflects their opinion.
The hotel was clean and location was very central, very close to Termini & for Hop-on-hop-off tour bus-station.
The hotel is just near the Termini Station, so its position is excellent. The room and bathroom were very clean and the staff was friendly.
There are many restaurants near the hotel with good food and low prices.
Allowed us to keep our luggage there when we went to Papal Mass past check out time.
Breakfast room was bright and attractive.
Location was great near train station.
Air conditioning was great.
Breakfast, personal and cleaning were good. Being close to the central station was perfect for us. We could walk to most of the tourist places.
I will recommend it for sure.
Nice, clean rooms, very friendly staff, super location and price-value ratio, good wireless connection even from the downstairs room close to the reception area.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was also great to be able to sit in a nice area to have a cup of coffee or food you can heat in the microwave.
The staff was helpful and made our stay as comfortable as possible. The location was perfect for us to travel to and from various attractions in the city.
Newly decorated facilities, comfortable, brilliant Shower, nice sized room.
Nice continental breakfast.
Very good value for money.
Very good value for money, hotel located
close to Termini central station. Clean room and good bathroom.
Great location, very close to Roma Termini. Friendly staff at the 24h reception.
The stuff was so nice and polite.
Very good location to metro .
central location for transport around city.
Location and cleanliness.
Helpful staff.
Location.
free internet terminal. good coffee. location near main train station, easy walk. 24hour reception. price if sharing. ensuite bathroom. air conditioning.
Convenient for Roma Termini. Roof terrace is unusual, although the view of rooftops is hardly inspiring. Cheap.
Well located, 200 mt away from the main entrance of Termini railway station.
bed not good require replacement its sagging.
Location is very and staff is friendly.
- location
- friendliness of staff.
Location is +++.
Breakfast is very nice and location is awesome! Very close to train
station. And there is a very good Chinese restaurant nearby.
The name of the hotel...should be spelled as faulty towers.
Well... of minor importance (to us, at least), but negative whatsoever: i) the thin walls, "offering the opportunity" to share with your neighbours and stuff more that you desire, ii) the small elevator (3 persons max) that fails to cover the needs of 3 hotels in the same building and all of their guests and iii) the lack of decoration in our room (get a poster at least, please).
No hairdryer in room.
Breakfast was poor, but better than nothing.
Maybe the only one thing, that my room looked out to the terasse. During breakfast can be a bit loud - if the weather is nice - but it didnt disturb me, because i must have woken up quite early.
Poor wifi access on 6th floor.
A little bit expensive for a 2 stars hotel (we payed 85 euro/night).
Room was very small, right next to office and staff girls could be heard talking to themselves and to friends on phone all afternoon and into evening.
Breakfast minimal.
The room was small but it was not a problem.
The walls are a bit thin so you can hear the noises from the other rooms, but it was not too disturbing overall.
While the croissants were tasty, there could be a choice of some salty food or at least one piece of fruit/vegetables in the breakfast, it is just too much sweet for 4 days in a row.
Breakfast was a little inadequate.
The street entrance, this could put some people off.
Breakfast a bit small and wi-fi not really good. Not a big problem for us, considering the price we payed and the perfect location for a short holiday in Rome.
The bed was a bit too small for two people.
Nothing everything was perfect.
Lift ,shall be covered or closed like normal shape in the hotel. However
,it works good,no problem and bigger is better.
Room number 6 is located just near reception and buffet. Window is between the room and terrace for breakfast.
So, one may sleep after coming last reception visitor, and before the first buffet visitor.
one impolite male staff. lousy small single old lift. thin mattresses. no spare pillows. difficult to access power point. no view, overlooking other people's flats. no Manuel.
This is like dozens of hotels in the Termini district which occupy a floor or two of a large building together with several others. Very run-of-the-mill - I'm surprised it gets such rave reviews.
Poor breakfast.
Hotel site mentions that breakfast is free. But it is very limited. Just
one piece of bread and coffee. When asked, staff mentions that it the
culture in italy. But I havenot seen thsi culture anywhere else in
Italy. It is better to remove the breakfast option.
- room
- internet connection.
No wifi in the room and the bathroom is not good.
Horrible experience, letsbookhotel.com should exclude this hotel to save their
own reputation.no facility like intercom, proper heating, bad behaved
staff who restricts you from eating in free breakfast option, very cheap
hotel with huge cost.
