Do take notice of his recommendations! We stayed in a 2 bed apartment very close to bus and train station. Apartment was very clean, spacious and kithcen had everything you needed for either a quick breakfast or dinner. Coop (supermarket) just around the corner (5 mins walk) or a smaller corner shop 2 mins away.

  As we had a car this location was perfect. Parking was free and the #12 bus to Venice was a 3 minute walk from the hotel which also sells the bus tickets. The bus was a 10 minute ride to Venice. The hotel was safe,clean and comfortable. Get there by 7.15 as they will be turning people - I felt that I was in a more upscale hotel, even though the cost was quite reasonable. Also, parking is free on the grounds of the hotel.

Signora Lucia made sure she drew us up a complete tour tailor-made to our available time in Verona, along with excellent recommendations for gelato, dinner, etc. She is an absolute gem. Nice breakfast (including lovely pastries from nearby bakery), good-sized room, very clean, only 1 flight up (but lift available - Everything about the B&B was perfect. In the heart of the old city, the B&B is ideally situated just off the main shopping street and only a few minutes walk from the arena, Piazza Erbe, Romeo and Juliet's houses. The B&B rooms cannot be faulted. They are furnished to the highest standard and with great style. They are well equipped down to the tiniest detail! Breakfast was outstanding and nothing was too much for the adorable Signora Lucia. A truly amazing stay. We will return!
