The man who greeted us there was great. We got in late at Marco Polo airport and we weren't entirely sure how to get there, but when we did he was standing outside of his hotel waiting for us and he called out my name when he saw to people with luggage.

Hotel is close to the airport Marco Polo. You can take a bus and will reach campalto in 10min. Venice can be reached by bus within 15 min from the Casa Gaia. The busstop is just infront of the Hotel. Make sure you buy a ticket in the tabaccheria next to the hotel. Besides if you are in Venice for a couple of days there are some nice offers for tickets, which you can use for buses and boats and which are valid for 2 or 3 days.

The location of this hotel is really perfect. Its located on quite street right in the city center, with lots of good restaurants and shops around, 5 minutes on foot to the bus stop, 3 minutes - to the harbour. Our room was not so big, but clean. The breakfast was good - toasts, eggs, ham, cheese, pastry. The hotel proprietor made us little discount when we checked-in - that was a pleasing surprise.

Dal buon gusto degli arredi e della ristrutturazione (in parte in corso, ma il disagio è stato relativo) alla biancheria perfetta, e per finire, la estrema cortesia e professionalità del personale - L'albergo, recentemente ristrutturato, è a mio avviso splendido. Reception lady was really kind and helpful, speaks good English. The location is good, quiet environment. Rooms are beautiful, seems like new or freshly renovated. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Little patio is lovely belonging to the rooms. Very modern athmosphere, nice furnitures. Parking place is safe in a closed courtyard, you definitely don't need your car as city center is reachable by foot. AC was fantastic, cooled down the room very good despite there was 45 C degree outside.

The hotel is located Right by the lake. We where upgraded for free, from a regular to a superior room. The rooms were Recently renovated and included a high level of Personal Care, such as huge bathroom with a modern shower and a hot tub and two balconies facing the lake and the Swimming pool
