  We loved it here. The town of Nicolosi is welcoming and friendly, as is the B&B, really a small apartment. Shop at the butcher for some good Scicilan meat and sausages and pick up some fresh vegetables and wine from a barrel, at a friendly vendor and go back to the B&B to cook in the little kitchen. The house is ancient but well res - What we read in other comments was definitely true. The appartement was excellent and very clean and the hosts Maurizio and Cettina very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really great, 5 jellies, fresh bread and Mortadella/prosciutto juices and Sicilian icecream (Granita)! Nicolosi is a cosy village to stay. Close to Etna and Catania.   The place is awesome and the little houses really nice. In the midle of "nowhere" is a fantastic place where to stay and relax. It'a a pity we did not have the chance to stay a bit more time to do a barbeque in that wonderful environment. Breakfast is ok: coffee, milk, pineapple juice (not fresh), a homemade cake and bread. We spent just 1 night and it's a bit far from the way -we were doing a trip around Sicily- (a - Turned out that renting an apartment at Case Don Ignazio in southern Sicily was an excellent idea.   The hotel is set just outside the historic village of Savoca and is accessed via a narrow roadway along a steep mountain ridge. The peace and quiet is amazing and the views are just beautiful. To sit on the balcony in the evenings as the sun goes down, listening to the church bells as the swallows swoop into the valley below is just heaven. We loved exploring

Breakfast is a major affair with a wide array of fruits, pastry, cheese, prosciutto and Maria's homemade yogurt. The decor and landscaping is chic and rustic. Definitely one of the major highlights of our trip is staying in this wonderful bed and breakfast.
