From the harbor we were picked up by the hotel. On arrival we got a drink, and our luggage was directly sent to our room. We got an upgrade to a room with sea view.
The hotel has a great outdoor pool, and is well maintained.
The hotel has two on site restaurant which are good.
The hotel has a nice SPA.

Do not compare a 5* hotel in Sicily with a 5* hotel anywhere else in the world...Saying that, we had a lovely time despite some flaws, exploring the Etna region and playing golf on the oldest golf course in Sicily nearby (green fee reduction when you stay in the hotel). Make sure to visit Castiglione di Sicilia about 1/2 hr. away. Hotel is in a very quiet area in well kept grounds, perfect for a short break. Good Wi-Fi connection in rooms, but somehow slow speed (as everywhere in Sicily).

fabulous hotel. Excellent and very helpful staff. Rooms were amazing with gorgeous sea view. Wellness area with sauna, steam room, emotional showers and the pool area were fantastic. Excellent location in town centre and not far from cable car or bus station. -

I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. I loved this hotel. Everything is perfect. The hotel has a greate design with a fantastic bar and restaurant with a very romantic views overlooking the bay. The staff is supernice and really make you feel welcome. This is a lovely place to stay if you want a bit of luxury and romance. It is offcourse a bit expensive also the bar and restaurant. But that is understandable - you get what you are paying for so it is OK.

Amazing service - a welcome prosecco on arrival, luggage taken up to our room from the car, room is tidied twice a day. Very nice private beach with free deckchairs/umbrellas. Great location by Isola Bella and close to the cablecar up to Taormina town. Would definitely recommend as a treat! -
