  B&B Milano Bella was not only the best place I stayed in a 2 1/2 week trip to Italy, it was also the best value! Martin could not have been more hospitable, the room was lovely and quiet with an excellent bed, the breakfast in the shared space (the B&B has just two rooms) delicious. He also helped me find an inexpensive - The flat we were in had 2 rooms, Our room was excellent: it was newly refurbished, very clean and with a new bathroom. From outside the other room looked as good. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. He gave us a lot of pointers and made us feel very much at ease. He also prepared the breakfast for us and it was good, but of course not as good (mostly in terms of variety) as you'd get in a 4* hotel. The location is also very good. It's 1-2 minutes walking from Porta Venezia subway station,

  I think they have improved their service and the cleanliness after they read the comments. I gave them my request, they responded. The owners of the the hotel can hardly speak English, but they are very cute, willing to try everything they can to help and to communicate with you. I enjoyed communicate with them. There you can find nice Chinese pp - Excellent location if you arrive at Milano Centrale train station - just 2-3 mins' walk. The room is very clean and of reasonable size. The bathroom is quite spacious with basic toiletries and a hair dryer. The B&B is located on the first floor of a well maintained residential building. You feel safe and it's quiet there. We were given bottled water every day in the room and at breakfast, which is considered quite generous in Italy. Check-in and breakfast are at the Open Bar next door.

Very friendly and went out of the way and gave us the city map and marked all the major places to visit with bus and tram routes. Next best thing was the breakfast. Very elaborate for a 2 star hotel and I had the best cappuccino of my life here in this hotel at breakfast. It is right in front of the bus and tram stop, so getting around the city is pretty easy. And the prices were reasonable for a city like MIlan.

  This hotel is more than worth the price you pay. The hostess is amazing and although she does not speak English we felt more than at home in the hotel. Every morning there is a free breakfast with a croissant, juice and a coffee which we enjoyed every day.
