  I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

The value for the money was much better than the restaurant in Positano that we tried. The service at the hotel provided by Felix and his staff was excellent.
