  Hotel Martino is located on the coast on the outskirts of Maratea, Italy. It is a great little budget hotel with amazing views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they spoke a little English. They had a restaurant "on site" and offered a continental breakfast included with your stay. (Just be sure to go during the "summer" season starting on June 1st - more amenities!) - Great location and close to restaurants for dinner. There is one attached to the hotel which makes it convenient but if you want something other than seafood you may have to find another place to eat. Breakfast was included and it was a great way to start the day. The town of Maratea is close by as well as other sites that are quite and beautiful. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for a spot a little off the beaten path.

  Very hospitable hosts, very good accommodation across the street from their restaurant, where excellent breakfasts were served. It was a good experience to stay in the centre of Matera. Ottimo tre stelle, leggermente decentrato al fine di poter godere di una posizione tranquilla, comunque non deficitaria per poter raggiungere anche a piedi il centro storico di Matera, evitando così le consuete problematiche di parcheggio in quel Capoluogo. Possibilità di posteggio coperto gratuito, seppur ridotta (vi era comunque l’eventualità di parcheggiare facilmente nei pressi). Ottima e abbon - L'estrema disponibilità dello staff:essendo intollerante ad alcuni alimenti, mi è stato proposto un menù alternativo- Ci è stata prenotata la visita guidata della città, con uno sconto. Ci è stato fornito il numero di un servizio taxi. Tutto il personale è sempre stato gentilissimo e premuroso. La camera molto pulita e confortevole, con aria condizionata non eccessiva. Davvero da consigliare!!

  Amazing cave room - absolutely HUGE! Believe this was the best room and it certainly had the wow factor and provided a unique experience. Lovely outside terrace too.Staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious and generous. A fabulous experience and would highly recommend a trip to this amazing place. - The location in the centre of Sassi is perfect. The amenities were excellent, we did not want for anything and outstanding views right in front of the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The loc - Staying at Sextantio Le Grotte Della Civita was an amazing experience. The location, in Matera amongst the 'sassi', was spell binding and the luxurious accommodation blended with the location very well. I would describe the accommodation as rustic embellished with luxurious touches - from the designer bath to the amazing breakfast! It says a lot that when we arrived and saw the place we immediately wanted to extend our stay! A big thank you to the helpful, interested staff.
