Cosa dice la gente
The staff of La Palme is what made us return, and why we will return in
the future. Thanks to Emma and Alecia for taking such great care of us,
as well as the owners who made last minute accommodations available to
our family at a good price. We had spectacular views of the Med from our
balconies, and we love the courtyard for late night gatherings and a
bottle of wine. The large breakfast also was a plus. tutti gli commenti dei clienti »
Location was very central to beach and railway station and an easy walk to both.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous.
Our room was spacious and clean upon arrival.
Wait Staff at breakfast were very accommodating. All in all our stay at Hotel Palme was very enjoyable.
Great location, 2 minute walk to the beach, fantastic breakfast and the staff in the dining room are so polite and very professional. Very clean rooms and if available you can get free parking. Spaces are limited though. Overall it's a nice hotel.
Loved the location, access ability to train station and beach. Also just off main road so it avoids most of the noise. Great outdoor area at the front for an evening drink and talk to other hotel guests. Very friendly and welcoming receptionist.
This hotel has great AC, comfortable beds and parking!
For ease of use in a busy beach town this ranks high. If you travel in by train you probably have more choices but if you have a car this hotel works the best.
The staff, (especially Ema!!!!), was so courteous and helpful and polite. The breakfasts were great. It is a two minute walk from the beach. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean.
We booked hotel Palme because it had on site parking but it was the best located hotel near to all that cinque terra has to offer. The staff were fantastic and the breakfast was great.
Location near sea & train station. The rooms were comfortable &
spacious. The sitting room was comfortable & there was computer
access. Pleasant outdoor area under trees.
1 block from beach. Had elevator. Staff was very nice. Some rooms had view of the sea. Very nice shaded sitting area in front of hotel. Quite and peaceful. Great breakfast included.
Hotel was well located, modern and has a large area in front with tables and chairs in which to enjoy the evenings. Breakfasts were good. Monterosso is an awesome beach town!.
Very friendly hotel. Very good choice for breakfast. Nice bar area. Five minutes walk max from the station, quiet area, 1 minute from sea front.
We loved that we got the top floor apartment with a balcony! View was amazing! Breakfast was fantastic and great location- highly recommend!.
Location great, best of the cinque terre villages. The staff were very good. We had room with balcony which we enjoyed.

The location was fantastic and easy re catching trains or boats to the various Cinque Terre towns.
The convenient location, excellent breakfast and our balcony. It was excellent value for money!.
Location, cleanliness, quiet, easily accessible to downtown areas, beach and train station.
Hotel well located near beach and the old town with vehicle access and some parking.
Very nice breakfast and very clean rooms. Very nice location close to
public beach.
Great location. Less than 2 minutes to beach. Hotel was clean and good breakfast.
Outdoor area very relaxing place to have a drink with excellent bar staff.
Great staff, lovely courtyard, clean rooms, ample breakfast, good Wi-Fi.
Great location from the train station and just a block from the beach.
Location, very close to the sea, guest cocktail, parking for free,.
Close to town and train station.
Lovely continental breakfast.
Central, everything in walking distance. Staff delightful.
It was a great hotel, friendly staff, and good breakfast!.
Location was great and the staff was very nice.
The hotel is in the centre.
simple and clean.
Great location, comfortable room, nice bar.
Close promixty to the train station.
I liked pretty much all of it.
convenient to sea/station.
Perfect location.
Location is excellent. 5 minutes walk from the train station.
A lot of shops along the way to the hotel from the train station - groceries, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Good breakfast spread.
Free internet in the lobby area only - not complaining.
Do not expect 4 stars. You go there to sleep/rest and spend the day out of the room! It is just functional for this sort of stay.
The staff at the service desk were really friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. The location was good, close to the big beaches and not far from the railway station, and the old town was just a short walk away.
Location very central
Friendly courteous staff
Clean facility
Breakfast good.
Location for the Cinque Terre of Italy was excellent in Monterosso.
Expensive for what we got. Air conditioning very poor.
Well located.
Breakfast.
Friendly staff, nice breakfast.
Cleaning Lady was friendly
Palm trees outside.
It is hard to state anything we did not like, but I think for the price,
the WiFi should extend throughout the hotel.
Reception staff although nice were blaze' at times.
No wifi in rooms (only in the public areas) and no coffee making facilities in room. These 2 points are probably insignificant but makes a difference from recommending the hotel to not. Breakfast was just over the pass mark and the signs about confiscating your drinks found in their bar fridge was a bit off putting.
Nothing. We would go there again.
The town map at the station (by footpath) showed the street going in the
opposite direction which mislead us at first until we confirmed the
direction. Very srtrange that the street was shown at each end of the
beachfront.
In 'my room' the shower was tiny. I'm thin and because of the small size, I kept accidentally moving the hot water control lever. Actually, the entire bathroom was small. The sink interfered with sitting on the toilet big time. Can't imgine a larger person using the bathroom.
Do NOT expect to have ocean views as claimed.
Shower was a little squishy and only wifi in lobby, not the rooms.
*no internet in room
*breakfast can be improve
*breakfast should be an option.
very basic rooms
not a four star hotel.
Some aspects of the room furnishings were rather sparse and limited.
Smokers, small bar, uncomfortable lobby, one of the staff members.
It was an excelent fit with what we were looking for.
Refrigerator in room but threatened to confiscate any items from the
refrigerator placed there by the guest - only for their bar items. At
$200 Euros per night, seemed awfully picky.
Grumpy managers/ owners, extremely small bathroom bidet stopped door from opening Also not allowed to put your drinks in the fridge or they would be confiscated.
Rooms were sparse and small. Our bed was 2 twins pushed together.
Wifi only in public area, small toilet, fair facilities.
Rooms can be quite noisy, we were close to the lift
No tea or coffee making facilities in room.
the rooms were so small and the bathroom was barely manageable because it was so cramped---- and the water temperature in the shower was very unpredictable -- either no hot water or scalding.
Limited outside view.
Kind of onerous rules about the use of the fridge in the room - probably due to past abuse.
room was rather small/ It had 2 single beds and ok for one person. Not really enough space for 2 .
Not cheap.
A bit costly - but hey, summer holiday season!.
The rooms were very basic, not quite what I had expected of a hotel that boasts 4 stars but perhaps my expectations were too high. Breakfast basic but ok. My single room was located so that on both sides there was the bathroom of the room next door, and as soundproofing seemed to be very modest, you could really hear everything, but with earplugs on during the night it was ok.
Room and bathroom very small
Amenties very basic.
The price was the highest of our entire trip per night for our least favorite hotel in Sicily and the body of Italy. Also, the breakfast was the lowest quality. We chose it a month in advance of staying there because it was one of the few rooms still available. Would have preferred a B&B for a somewhat lower price. For the Cinque Terre, because of its name, be prepared to overpay as you definitely do for what you get at the Hotel Palme.
Too expensive (160€ per day for 2 with breakfast) for the standard of
the room (poor decoration) no swimming pool, no gym.
Expensive for tiny room.
Poor room decoration, not good value for the money.
Highly unprofessional staff
Breakfast was not fresh
Internet and telephones didn't work
Unfriendly staff.
