I had a very beautiful birthd - My room was upgraded to a double room with balcony on my arrival , which made me very happy and i staked happy throughout the stay. Light refreshments were available 24 hours. The room was clean and near enough the city centre to walk comfortably and far enough away to feel relaxed after a days sight seeing.   The staff was lovely. The hotel was beautifully kept and the rooms spotless. The rooms also had a modern security system and all modern amenities. The location is fabulous. My view was of the Duomo. And you step outside and turn to your left and you are in the plaza of the Duomo. It's a five minute walk to the Academia and five to the Uffizzi. If I ever make it back to Florence I would be sure to stay there again! - The best feature is the location! You walk out the door and BAM! there's the Duomo. Waking up to the bells was an experience I will never forget. Also, it is an easy walk from the train station as well as to the major Florence attractions. It made walking around in the cool evening enjoying the city very convenient. The hotel itself is very charming, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful place to stay!!!
