  We found the hotel to be very much to our taste and we enjoyed the stay very much. Breakfast was filling and the train was not very far from the hotel. It was luxury in the heart of the country so we truly enjoyed our quiet stay after a busy day in Venice. You can get train tickets at the desk, the staff speak English. Coming from Venice, get off ... cosa dice la gente » the train on the second stop for Campagna Lupia as the first will place you nearly 500 yards from the hotel instead of 200 yards. - This hotel will be one of the best we have stayed in so far, in Europe. Everything was organsied perfectly. The receptionist was lovely and spoke English perfectly. She was very helpful in telling us how to travel into Venice, and sold us the train tickets for the next day. It was very easy to find our way to the train station. We would highly recommend this Hotel.

  The room was large, clean and comfortable. Management attended to all our needs promptly. Although the hotel was 25 minutes from the centre of Venice we were able to access a reliable bus service close and the bus stop was only a short walk away. We were able to manage our suitcases better than some of our friends who experienced difficulties wit... cosa dice la gente » h stairs and finding their hotel in the centre of Venice. - Convenient for getting to Marco Polo airport in the morning. Near main road, but still quiet. Owner friendly and helpful - arranged to serve breakfast half-hour early (7.30am) to allow us to get away in good time. Fly screens on the windows (thought we didn't need it) but are probably essential later in the year. Owner sent 'thank-you' email after we left.
