super friendly staff. very enthusiastic and caring. at the time i was there, they were still partly under construction, but i think in the future its a nice place to stay for backpackers and young people! a little separated, former industrial building not very far from the older tel aviv - yafo.

I stayed at Chef Hostel for 21 nights and I loved every minute! From the moment I arrived, I was met by the friendly staff who made my time there so memorable. All of my expectations were met - or in some cases exceeded. The hostel is conveniently located, I was able to conduct all of my planned excursions with minimal effort or disruption. Very good locaion in the center of Tel-Aviv, also close to the beach. Despite being near to some great pubs, the room itself was quiet.

Besides the fact that the building looked a bit old and out of shape , it's actually perfect to stay for a few days.. even a week i would say. Its worth your money and a hostel is a hostel ;) so either way.. if you need a cheap place to stay in a perfect good location .. book it ;) -

Hayarkon 48 is great place to stay in TA, perfect location (2 min. walking from the beach, close to main boulevard and night life ;), 15 min. walking from Old town Jaffa). It was in average a good hostel.
The rooms were ok. Clean but not shiny. I was with a 6 people room. It was spacious and it had a balcony.
There was free wi fi in all the hotel.
The breakfast was Ok, just diy cofee, eggs and toasts - jelly.
From what I could see most of the hostel guest were from the US.
The common instalations were nice and not too crowded.

Perfect location and easy to find. Excellent place to spend your evening after a day in Tel Aviv. I slept well here, the room was very clean and tidy. The hostel has an excellent atmosphere, really easy to meet people and make friends. The staff is just amazing, very nice and helpful. Just a few blocks from the beach. I will stay here again. -

The location is perfect. It's next to the beach, with shops and public transport right around the corner. I will stay here again the next time I visit Tel-Aviv.
