We were at first put into accommodation known as a Lumbung these are cramped, dark and tiny with almost a ladder going from upper bedroom to the outdoor downstairs bathroom which is very steep. They are kind of a traditional Indo style place my friend and I decided this was not for us and asked to change the staff were most amenable and put us into a fab newer room one level with gorgeous outdoor bathroom. It seems there are two distinct parts to Vila Ombek two pools etc the Pearl of Trewangan

The Hotel is located within approx. 10 mins walk from the main place. The rooms are big and clean. The spa is small, but the massages have been relaxing and professional. The villa was very clean and luxurious. The staff was friendly and helpfull and the location just perfect, since it is located in front of the island's best snorkelling area. Good breakfast, you just can't go kring with this accommodation!

Staff were very helpfull and friendly. The diving was extremely well organised with equipment standards rating very high. The breakfast choices were great and always fresh. I would highly recommend staying here for the dive package/courses and central location with brilliant food and welcoming staff. -

I was pretty careful when choosing our hotel for our vacation in Gili T.
I have read many reviews and finally chose Samba Villa. First, because I
was intrigued by the fact that it has fishes and sea turtle spot just in
front of the hotel. Second, because the rate is competitive with other
luxury villas I was interested in. Me and my husband were satisfied with
our choice. It was a nice villa with nice beach. The staff and owner are
super friendly and helpful. We went islands hopping for snorkel

Great location with private beach away from the main town centre which makes it a lot more relaxing and quiet. In saying that we still went out every night to the main bars which are only a short horse and carriage ride away. Very friendly and helpful staff (although English was limited but so is everyone's in Indonesia!). -

Remember your reef shoes to make it easier to walk on coral strewn beach! Perfect place to take the kids and also nice for couples too.

We loved our stay here. We stayed in a fan cooled one bedroom treehouse, so there were some bugs and the room did get hot at times, but they provided us with bug spray, a mosquito net, and coils. The room was kept quite clean. The highlight is definitely the free breakfast! Would definitely stay here again.
