The staff were uniformly terrific - very helpful, courteous and considerate - from the service desk to the waiting staff.
The location is outstanding with the capacity to lounge on but above the beach so enjoying the beachside experience but avoiding the hassle of the peddlars.
The facilities beachside and in the room are also top class.

We loved the fact that Annora was a small place which meant that we got to know the lovely friendly staff who were very helpful when we needed anything. The breakfast which was included in the price was some of the best bacon & eggs we have had. really good. They have figured out what counts for a great experience
for pretty much everyone and drawn up the blue prints accordingly. The
restaurants are the best at any hotel I have been to - and trust me, I
have been to most - and the constant and caring attention of Director of
Cusine that we experienced, Richard Millar, makes a huge difference!

We only stayed one night because we arrived in Bali late and Seminyak
was closer to the airport than our expensive hotel in Ubud. Blue Karma
was just lovely. Our villa (I think we were upgraded) was just gorgeous--
modern, clean, large, with a private pool. The grounds are beautiful as
well. The staff were kind, friendly and efficient. We took a walk to the
closest beach at Seminyak and were not impressed--tacky shops along the

The staff are very helpful and friendly and cant do enough for you, the Balinese people are the most genuine friendly people we have met anywhere in the world. The pool bar was excellent and the swim up bar was a good feature which was well used by the guests. The spa was very calming and relaxing and very reasonable compared to the prices in the UK. Well, it's everything... It brings back our smile since our arrival
at this hotel. Initially, we're quite tired queuing for taxi and our
luggage at the airport (2 hours). But as soon as we arrive at the hotel,
we immediately find some peace in this hotel. It's quite unexpected
since Jalan Laksmana outside this hotel is a very crowded and busy road

Everyday we were surprised with our towels organized in the shape of an
animal! One day a frog, the other day a turtle, a mouse, a fish... With
a handwritten note by the housekeeping staff. For someone traveling with
a child these type of details are important. The hotel provides a very
personalized approach to their guests and does make an effort to respond

The hotel has good wireless internet for as many devices you want. The pool area is fantastic and you can eat and drink right at the beach front. You can also have private dinner on little pavilions in the garden area. The rooms are big and spacious with a balcony. You get all the little goodies like tea cooker, toothbrush etc. Location is great for shopping, eating and to go to the beach. Highly recommended!

Arif (Manager) was excellent...he fixed our problems straight away...(it shouldn't have needed escalation to him to sort things out though!)
Rooms are very comfortable (we had a Deluxe)
Grounds are immaculately kept and stunning.

Beach side villa we stayed in was amazing. Private pool, Butler service, breakfast in the room everyday. Villa and pool spotless everyday. The hotel staff could not do enough for us. They were so friendly and attentive. We live in Dubai with so many top hotels but the staff here beats anywhere in Dubai. We have already recommended this hotel to everyone.

The Dipan was so good, I returned after spending a week in Ubud. The staff and villas are wonderful, with a gorgeous lagoon pool you will not want to leave. My family were all sick during our stay, and management and staff were very caring and helpful. The neighbouring spa is great for massages, and pampering. Best of all is the Dipan's location:

Excellent breakfasts we were upgraded from a 1 bed villa to a 3 bed
(although only allowed to use 2 bedrooms, the third was ceremonially
locked!!), a lovely villa for 2 adults and 2 children. Villa had useful
plunge pool that the kids could play in while we watched from the
room/patio staff very attentive good food in the hotel restraunt
