  The location is great: right next to a tram station and 5 minutes away from 2 subway station. The rooms are clear, spacious and the decoration is elegant. The staff was very helpful and did everything they could to make my stay enjoyable. It worked ! It is worth the money and the centre of Peszt is reachable on foot. For other trips you have a tram stop right in front of the house and metro line nearby. The staff was helpful and rooms were spacious and clean.

  My stay at the Mushroom Hostel was plain awesome. The hostel is in fact an apartment situated in central Budapest. I arrived on a Saturday and at first I was the only guest, so far a small price I got the luxury of my very own deluxe apartment. Another guest arrived later, but even when full the common areas are large and nicely furnished. These are large apartments in living house, with three rooms to rent, huge lounge room, kitchen and two common toilets/bathrooms. Good level of hospitality, cleaningness and comfort. Wi-fi works well. Good location, close to Pest sightseeings and Parliament.

  It was my first trip alone and my first also to Hungary, and the staff made me feel immediately welcome. The rooms are definitely worth the price with large windows and comfortable beds. Not to mention that most all of the city is walkable right from the hostel.
