  We couldn't have been happier with our apartment. A group of 10 split between two two-bed apartments- ours was spacious, clean and with all the mod cons. The staff were really helpful and friendly - especially Gabor - and were willing to help with directions, cabs and weren't annoyed when the other group paid a bit later. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

The location was fantastic.. just a couple of minutes walk from the Oktogan Metro stop and very close to the main nightlife strip (but not close enough to be bothered by it).. We explored the whole city by foot from the apartment, couldnt have been better!

I had problems with my card when i made the reservation and they were nice and didn't make a big problem about this. The apartments were in the center, so close to everything and very very spacious and comfortable. They have everything you might need including an ironing machine and a hairblower and all sorts of stuff in the kitchen. We were very surprised we could get such a nice place, with such a good location with what we thought was a low price.

There was a wide variety of different food options at breakfast, so everyone is catered for. They even organised airport transfer to/from the airport. I stayed here with my mum and she couldnt fault the place. We both loved it! :)

The Budavar Pension is clean, quiet and is in an excellent location, very close to the Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Chain Bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
