The room was huge! Clean, spacious and quiet rooms. No aircon, but it was winter and opened the window facing the railway station. While our window faced the tracks, the noise was not excessive and we slept very well. Beds were great, lots of couches, huge bathroom with duel sinks and large shower/bath. Breakfast was very good, great variety. Avoid 8-9:30am if possible - very busy.
Our shower was broken, and the housemaid had put the broken handle on the shelf and left it as it was. Shower head and bracket was broken, and plug blocked. We arrived to the hotel late, didn't realize until unpacked so had to do a quick-fix. Took housekeeping 2 days to fix shower (with plumbers tape only). Non-smoking room had very stale musty smoke smell.

Perhaps a little overused, the shower head (metalic chrome finish waspeeling) and wooden furniture caused me to get a few splinters.Otherwise the stay was very pleasant.
The hotel was clean, if in need of a little refresh. However, the staff and service that we received more than made up for any deficiencies in the facilities available. It's location was ideal as it was just a short walk from the station, while the recommended restaurant 5 minutes up the street served amazing traditional German cuisine.
The hotel has its parking, and the price was feasible for my budget.
I stayed in Regent, because it was discounted from 445 EUR to 75 EUR. So I wanted to experience luxury hotel. Unfortunately for the price of 445 EUR I would expect that hotel will have renovated elevator, and you feel real luxury. I havent such a perception of it. But for the price of 75 EUR I was satisfied.

The bar was closed, I'd driven 400 kilometers and was looking forward to a nice whiskey in the bar.
The bathroom door was terribly warped and bent at the bottom. Its the only thing to look at when you are on the can.

It could be convinient to suggest free-of-charge Internet access to guests. At reception I received information that I can use swisscom, but the prise about 20 EUR/day I considered a little bit unreasonable. Fortunately, there was NETGEAR wifi connection that was free but a little bit unstable and slow.
Our room and the bathroom was nice, spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff, all of them helpful and friendly with good English. We did appreciated the coffee and tea offer in the loby ,any time of the day,it was very generous of the hotel.
