  The hotel had a lovely tranquil feel to it. The room with ensuite bathroom was lovely. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. - Rooms are clean and unlikely to many other hotels - equipped with hair dryers. Does not matter for me but for my wife - it does.

The building must have hosted a state guest house from the Communist years. Rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and a grandiose Soviet feel to them. There is a haute cuisine restaurant downstairs, which gets a fair share of clients from outside (mostly locals in the know). The menu is top class and the prices very reasonable.
