  My wife & I were pleasantly surprised at this small boutique hotel. It is located right in the middle of Prague's Old Town and close to Charles Bridge. All major attractions are within an easy walk (even for a pair of middle aged people). There are great restaurants right on the doorstep or again an easy walk to the square. We would highly recommend the Aurus Hotel - The staff made Aurus. The girl on reception while we were there (Marina I think, 10th to 12th May) was absolutely brilliant. She was so helpful and seemed happy to help. It was a pleasure to deal with her. She deserves a big bonus as we'd recommend Aurus based on her welcoming and helpful nature! :) There was a little cleaning lady also who seemed very happy and nice.

  The location is excellent right in the middle of Prague for tourists. The rooms (I stayed in 3 different rooms) were of different prices and sizes, all 3 rooms offered good value for their price. The bathrooms in all 3 rooms were well equipped and clean with plenty of hot water comfortable non-slip shower stalls. Breakfast was good. We had a very spacious room, good bathroom facilities with a decent sized shower cubicle. Some very tasty cakes at breakfast, and really we had everything we needed for a great price.   The hotel is rather good for its money. Breakfasts are ok, staff are hospitable. We like the place where the hotel is. Once we went by bus to the city center, watched the rout, next times we walked, cause it's rather close. Also there are lots of restaurants with local cuisine near. Breakfast could be improved, but in case that it is 3 stars hotel, they are a above the middle. Location, keeping the price in mind, is really good, it is not far from center. For example, it took no longer than 30 minutes on foot to reach the astronomical watch. There is a lot not expensive restaurants or bars around the hotel.
