The location of the apartment was also excellent, only a short walk from the Charles Bridge itself. -
There are many things to like about Charles Bridge Apartments. First of all, location. Very, very close to Charles Bridge, brief walk to Old Town Square and not much further to City Centre.
Second, staying in an apartment vs. hotel is so much better in terms of space, having a fully equipped kitchen. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay there ! (parents with 11 and 14.5 yr old boys).

hostess texted me with directions which was helpful. We loved the terrace, especially lounging in the evening after "touristing" all day. It's close to the city, very clean rooms, fridge, small bathroom and shower, but adequate. Place is very roomy, ceiling is slanted and a bit low, so be careful getting up!

apartment and thought we would have to wait for the host till the
meeting time but surprisingly the host is already there to welcome us.

Everything worked out just as planned. The owner already waited for us at the apartment and showed us the most interesting spots in prague on a map she provided for us. Toilets, bath and bed were very clean. The apartment is located right in the center of the old town. There are 3 good restaurants (not expensive) we visited nearby: Kabul -Afghan Restaurant, an Indian one, and the one left of the little catholic church that is right next to the apartment. The hotel's location was great, with a walking distance to places of interest in every direction. Staff was helpful, we got e.g. extra blankets when asked. Room was very tidy and cleaned daily. Breakfast was comprehensive: sausage, different cheeses and cold cuts, eggs (scrambled and boiled), fruits, cereals of different types, yoghurt, toasts, green salad, potato salad, vegetables, couple of sort sweet pastries, juices, etc..).
