Wonderful location -- right on the lake -- and the hotel grounds are really well landscaped. Food is excellent and the staff very attentive and friendly. I especially liked the gym. -

The staff all helpful & friendly "one American staff member called Cris" in particular, nothing was too much trouble !! probably the best hotel i have stayed at ( they are actually like apartments ) FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY !! -

The rooms are spacious, very clean and extremely well finished and
decorated. This extended into every detail through the whole hotel, from
lobby to hallways and rooms to a level you don't see very often in
China, specially not in this price class. Bed was of superb quality.
Break fast was nice with a good choice between Chinese and Western food.
Also the food from room service was affordable and very tasty. Best
thing was the spa, never had such a good massage anywhere in China.

Everything. The staff were helpful and friendly. Sam in the Concierge team can speak English and was most helpful, even before our arrival in Hangzhou, by answering all our email queries about tours from Hangzhou to Huangshan (Yellow mountain). When we arrived at the hotel, Sam helped us secure bus tickets to Huangshan and train tickets to Shangha

The best hotel I stayed in China. Staff is very pleasent. Western options in the jw marriot menu, nice swimming pool. Dont have this weird smell that you feel sometimes due to chinese cuisine. Nice executive room and good options for western breakfast in the 16 floor. Internet in room.
